If you go 80 faith and go sacred infusion this thing will have so much split damage in PvP that at meta level 150, it’s 1 hr1 does the same damage in PvP as the flame art version. Any motion value higher and sacred will do more damage, in fact sacred does the most damage for skills like lion’s claw out of any weapon on the game by a good margin. Going flame art on the black steel great hammer is the same deal, as faith increases both the fire and holy damage, so that’s double scaling.

Brother of the sword! a solid build I came up with that would be good! Is a bow build with ST arrows and Thiollier’s needle in the off hand and Trina’s talisman with Alexander’s shards so you sleep people in a few arrows, 1 hand the bow and the needle overrides every other ash of war so instant 1K damage everytime they go to bed

Sacred Blade is the best ash of war for this build. You get innate fire damage on top of holy damage and an additional holy buff when you do the L2. It gets insane hyperarmor... My strongest sword in my build...

...What's especially impressive here is how Flame Art is actually *superior* to Fire on strength with this build. Typically, strength wields 2-handed weapons better because of the 50% strength bonus, so 50 strength should become 75, beating a "mere" 50 faith. However, for this weapon, I'm getting 803 unbuffed, 1074 AR with Grant Me Strength + Flame tear on 50 strength and Fire infused, but Flame Art beats that by 60 AR base, and the gap becomes 100 when buffs are involved (the Tear, notably).

I still think that rock pots, despite potentially lower damage depending on the build, are better to use, purely because of the knockback. High damage MIGHT kill, but falling >20m in ER ALWAYS kills.
