This is one of the best swords in the game, scales great with strength and the stat requirements are super low for how much damage it does. also the ash of war is brilliant for pVp and Pve.

It IS great, but personally i didnt find much use for the aow in pve. The moon projectile is just so dang slow to come out. Besides, im a big saver on fp when it comes to overworld, so i prefer cheaper, more effective ashes, like the smithscript shield. Stun and slap, for only 3 fp! Good stuff.

a greatsword weight almost like a colossal sword and guard boost almost like a medium shield. I found it actually pretty fun pairing with the deflecting hard tear for the block counter playstyle

Trust me I'm the one person still walking around with the black gargoyles greatsword because the ash looks like a destined death vacuum slice yet it gives a minor black flame burn without the debuff..... if you build around purely using the ash it's pretty fun to play with but I also found your average invader has no idea how to time the dodge because like noone uses these types of ashes when storm blade is SUCH a GREAT range ash for such low cost. Thats without considering most people just use RoB or MV when they want the range ash yet none of them understand that its only an ok pressure tool and does actual damage when you hit with the sword and the projectile lol.

I think the Regal Beastclaw AOW on the Beastclaw Greathammer is an almost perfect Windscar. Too bad you can't put it on a CGS like the Omen Cleaver or Freyja's GS, or maybe the new Radahn GSs. Now you got me thinking of a Inuyasha cosplay build. I remember seeing a pretty good Kagome build in one Chase's videos. Now let's see... maybe the Red Bear Hunt AOW on the Red Bear's Claw for Iron Reaver Soul Stealer, and either Bloodflame Talons or the Blood Blade AOW. Dunno🤔... fun to think about though.

I want to see you use the deflecting hardtear in pvp, and focus on deflecting+guard counters. I like doing it with light greatswords because their guard counters come out pretty fast and flow very fluidly into their light attack chain.

Remember to angle it properly when free aiming the ash of war. If you free aim and look down the projectile just goes into the floor and if you look up it will go up.

Not sure if you will see this Chase. But it would be cool to see you use the Main-gauche. Either duel wield daggers, or use it with a thrusting sword since you can have the main-guache in your left hand and a thrusting sword in your right. I think the Main-gauche is such a cool versatile weapon, but I never see anyone use it.
