Elden Ring - How to Kill Bell Bearing Hunter Very Easy - Boss Fight Guide

Bell Bearing Hunter
As with most phantom bosses there is a brief period as they spawn into battle where you can get a few attacks off - take advantage of this.
Avoid distancing yourself from him as when you are distanced the Bell Bearing Hunter will use an array of attacks in quick succession and drives you further away from him if you're dodging and then will get agressive and close the distance with another series of attacks including attacking you from behind.
The key is to stay VERY close to him and hug his sword arm. Because the sword arm lands on the other side of the body (swings right to left) you bait him into swinging with his other hand that holds the shield (swung left to right) which is an easily dodged attacked.
Just before he makes contact on the ground dodge roll into him and stay on the sword hand and attack and he will continue to try and bring you down with the shield.

Hahah on my first play through I had no idea why this boss was important beyond being part of the story, but not necessary to complete the game... it wasn't until my second playthrough that I realized she was necesary to change one of the endings that you can just fall into. If you never encounter the three fingers, she's just a pain for nothing! Fun looking gear I spose?

This guy is so annoying, he two shot me with 46 vigor, lvl 2 crimson medallion, and my armor is the scaled armor set. To make it worse the only time u can heal is when he uses the drill sword attack and exploding shield, and any other time he will attack u and deal more damage than your heals. Not to mention his high poise. I had to get a no hit just to kill him becuz of a combo that can one shot me. I didn’t want to cheese him but did considered it. However, your tips helped alot

Let me know how it works out for you! If it still works let me know! Another viewer has said they patched this pattern out and made his shield have an AOE knockback of sorts! maybe try a dodge on the impact of the shield if the pattern still works! Best of success to you!

I cheesed this guy with a bow while walking/rolling backwards. He will follow you for a little while then he returns to his original respawn. Just rinse and repeat.

I’m lvl 119 with this current playthrough and can get him to a final quarter of health with buffs and my Godslayer Greatsword, but after that quarter of health… he’s unbeatable so far. Rolling doesn’t do anything he just one shots me.

Not at all! having a weapon proc like magic or blood will deffinitely help. It really is a patience game but those extra little things to help take their health really helps. You can also use items that might help with damage or health buffs to help! You got this! I have downed this boss at a lower level it just takes a bit longer to chip away the health. The important this is to avoid getting hit as much as possible because they recover health on damage to you.

Maybe I’m just getting the real asshole version but that shield slam he does has an aoe explosion after he slams it now. So now he slams them it does an aoe explosion almost immediately after and it sucks. I will eventually get him but one day I’ll meet Miyazaki and I’m gonna effin one shot him for this kind of fukery 😂

@@YaGirlCJ funniest thing. I accidentally stumbled across this but each bell bearing hunter has a weakness. They can only fight horizontally and there’s a spot where each can’t reach. Two spawn at houses so jump on the roofs, one has a rock beside the house and he can’t get on it, and the one at the church of vows I haven’t cheesed. He’s pretty weak best I can tell. A few bloodhounds finesses will take him down. There’s a human lure pot you can use to lure him and he’s weak to lightening or at least weaker to*
