I like how Elden Ring encourages exploring because Margit is such a tough fight if you fight him without seeing the surrounding areas first. For instance there is an item called Margit's Shackle that you can find that will restrain him once during his first phase making the fight much easier.

That was a wonderful journey! I also like the evolution of your fighting technique, the first time you fought Margit, your rolled backwards, away from his magic hammer, but it hit you. Then, when you revisit him, you roll towards him, missing the hammer strike, and perfect timing. It's beautiful!

Lol I don't remember Margot being this tanky, but you've restored my faith in the jumping attack. I never used it once even up till my ng++ run.

The jump attack is so good if you use it as an opener. Against a lot of small enemies it does a ton of stature damage and you can just riposte them after that. Even trolls in my STR playthrough get staggered after 2 jumping attacks and a light attack with my Zweihander. The only thing that does more stature damage is a fully charged Heavy Attack or some Ash of Wars.

Bro what, may as well say you haven't tried ashes of war or guard counters, it's a new mechanic that destroys some enemies. This game plays very differently from dark souls so you must be a damn god to have beaten the game easily without it. Unless you were pulling your hair out idk.
