In journey 5 I managed to beat it in 4 hours, but this time around. I want to try it kinda for real, as real as I can muster any way. Btw for those who are interested:- Just Finished the game 3 times in one sitting thanks to this video, from journey 6 to journey 8. My best run was probably 1 hour 40 minutes. The rest are between that and the 2 hours mark. I might farm later when I feel like it, but I’m burned out now so time to chill and play something else.

@@douglasn167 nope, I honestly don’t remember what I used. A mix of everything. Duel wield seppuku on weapons that I honestly don’t know the name of. Jump attack with Black feather armor + some talismans. And bosses health melt quickly. Also used incantations before fights for extra armor plus damage.

Scary moments: 47:45 54:34 57:55 - 58:05 (the boss' swing going trough you but still missing, the dot effect killing the boss in the last second, saving you, because it would've hit you during the ash of war, wow)

@@rogerroger2514 same here lmao then my ng+ and ng+2 were speedruns for the alternate endings, had to get the legendary spear and got all my achievements yesterday after a hard elden beast fight (more so radagon) got to elden beast 5 times and had him 1/4th hp 3 times. Luckily I was shooting for 72 hrs playtime for all achievements and did it with 8 to spare

I just found a whole little area in Limgrave that I didn't know about w another Ash of War, and a Starlight shard. I do like to explore every corner and find every freaking item I can.

@@grogueQ bro trust me I had around 200-250 my first play through getting every unique thing I could find. I would explore first and then look for anything I missed on the item map on the wiki. This was first souls game and was a challenge especially at the start don’t mind the people that spoilt their game experience with videos and didnt go to a majority of caves except to get moonveil or other op weapon. If you play blind play at your own pace and don’t worry about the hour count as long as you are having fun hope you enjoy the game 👍

Just watching this now as I'm working my way through NG+3. Great run! I tried pausing your video on your equipment screen changes, but I still had a couple of questions that I was hoping you could answer. 1) What Tears are you using in your Physick? 2) Any reason for putting Bloodhound Step in Raptor Talons instead of something else? I've seen other people do this too. I know it's only a weight of 1.5, but curious if there's any other reason to use it over something else (ex. a Dagger is also weight 1.5)

I’m using Thorny Cracked Tear and Greenburst Crystal Tear in my Physick. No particular reason for using Raptor Talons, it was one of the 1.5 weighted weapons that I had found naturally while playing that could use Bloodhound’s Step. I mainly chose it for the ninja turtle thumbnail 😂

Yep did not work for me. Even with Cat talisman and cotton shoes. You have to go left, kill bubble boys and then go right at gold roof houses and jump to main road to get to same place.

Good stuff! I'm surprised Maliketh's black blade is the best weapon for the final bosses, considering they have 80% holy resistance. Less surprised Corpse Piler was the best for everything else =P

I don't know the math but i think the black blade, the incantation version of it, and the black knife's ash of war all do a unique type of holy damage since experimentally they're all very effective against the elden beast. Also the drain effect is % based for overall HP, which elden beast has a lot of, so that helps.

Great stuff enjoyed it man Would definitely recommend learning hourah loux. Didn’t look like you got too many hits on him trying to stay back. Rather than just rolling and then double slicing in his many openings. And of course you almost died in the second phase And then with Elden beast that was a deserved death. The sword swing went right through you but apparently didn’t have a hit box for some reason. Maybe it’s required to take too much risk like that to get a good time, I don’t know. Thanks for sharing

At your level you probably played around with different melee weapons combinations like I did? Have you tried left handing the sword of Milo's while having the blasphemous blade in your right hand? Just something to try if you're up to different ideas. It might not be a dex build but check it out with your own buffs. Swinging both at the same time gets you fp and hp (for those that don't know.)
