The amount of detail in these games is staggering. You can tell From has a very high standard and artistic vision. The drawings look incredibly similar to what’s actually in the game

They do great character and creature designs, the 2 volumes seem to be images of the final designs. It would have been nice to get some earlier concepts and unused designs though, especially as they have the space over 2 books

@Wishmaster65 thanks for the support! I'm also waiting on the first Volume. It wasn't delivered with the second book due to stock issues and the copy I received yesterday was torn and had folds inside. My replacement arrives today, so hopefully I can upload it this evening! 😊

They could have included unused boss designs, that would’ve been cool. Unless you want this book for the art itself, you may aswell get the volume 2 guide book

I agree with you, some unused concepts would have been great, this could be considered an illustration book. The studio has such great designs that it's a shame they don't show earlier versions or scrapped ideas

I agree this is the better of the two. I think splitting it was a mistake. It's not real data, but the Volume 1 video gets double the views. So either people didn't need to see more, or they didn't like the first volume and so ignored the second.

It's a strange thing, these 2 volumes are my most popular videos by far and the art itself is great, but the books are lacking. It should have been 1 volume with better use of space. 2 volumes works if they included development art. The Elden Ring fan base is big and passionate, it's a shame they have taken advantage of this and charged them for 2 books. I hope at least, their popularity brings people here to discover other artbooks
