It's interesting to see how badly he did. It seems like it's all down to movesets: the ER bosses make big explosive AOE attacks and nobody from Bloodborne is really built to handle that.

That said, boss vs. boss with the Orphan of Kos being unusually quiet really does underline the psychological effect of his usual hellish screeching on the player.

None of your final boss scalings are accurate. Sekiro, Dark Souls 3 and now Bloodborne. When you scale an enemy it should be scaled to a boss at similar stage in the game. What you've done is scaling the final boss of Bloodborne dlc to an early boss of the dlc. It has minimum defense and mid attacks power. For comparison, I think putrescent knight had better chance against the bosses compared to this version of orphan. The other critic that I have, is not implementing posture to imported bosses. Also Orphan didn't have the beautiful screams

I don't quite understand what he did. He said he scaled the orphan to DLC bosses with his original stats. That is pretty vague. Does he give orphan the same scaling as the opponents he fights?

It has no practical significance. The so-called scaling is basically just to extend the combat time a little bit.

Considering that the Confrontation and Defeat of the Orphan of Kos at the Hands of the Good Hunter has a narrative-bound impact on the Characters residing in the Hunters Dream such as the Doll and German himself and even provide a conclusion to their backstory, I would say YES! He is a better final boss for the DLC. Was there ever any question? I mean as a sub-plot it´s all nice and fine the whole shennanigans with the Lands of Shadow and Messmer and Marikas origins etcetera, etcetera but the rammifications to the main story are essentially the same as if some Hornsent took a big Sneeze... It happened but no one gave a damn, not even Gideon
