It's very interesting to see people more used to the Elden Ring/Sekiro/Bloodborne style of recklessness trying to play the game that taught us to "Shield Up" At ALL Times.

​@@Hideyourtoes_miyazaki Oh, trust me, bruv. I know you didn't use shields. And I also know you never played Demon's Souls back when it was released in the PS3 either. You see, Demon's Souls is notorious for choke points and ambushes in very narrow pathways with enclosed walls, where large weapons would have problems. And in pathways with insta death cliffs and some aggressive mobs. Meaning that even if you were an Expert, at some point early on, you still would've used shields just to learn the patterns of enemies. In fact, I would go as far as to say that I doubt you've put any time in the Demon's Souls remake either. Maybe you haven't even played it to begin with... Bad form, Peter.💀👎

Personally, whenever I play Demon's Souls, I take advantage of the Return by Death Exploit. For those who dont know, yes, i named it after the name of Subaru's power from ReZero, and to do it is very simple: When you have your body, right when you die, you close out the game. When you come back in, you will be shortly before the area you died and you will still have your body, your souls, and your world tendency will not change. Its so much better than playing at half health all the time

Yeah idk why some people think demon souls on ps3 was better But nah man the remake is so much better even if u dont have the atmosphere It has its own beautiful atmosphere This is coming from someone who played the go demon souls

@@ItzApotato5907 The graphics in general are better for sure, as is the quality of life. However the game lived from the so bad it's good again-OST and the generic enemy redesigns plus the completely different tonal shift in atmosphere make the Remake kinda off-putting. I still like the game but I also vastly prefer the PS3 version from an aesthetic/artistic view. But playing the Remake feels a lil bit nicer. Most of my gripes would go away if they had a menu option to change the OST back to be honest.

You can actually just easily farm them with your fists, they do good blunt damage in this game. I usually fist them when I plan on running the crescent falchion.

Keep in mind that Dark Souls was teh improvement of Demos Souls. Thats why some things like plunge attacks dont exist in the game.

The PS3 version was my first Fromsoft game and I kinda get it, but I also love the new visuals. Wish Elden Ring looked like that haha. The only things that bother me are the random redesigns (Penetrator looked better in blue, fight me) and the new ost kinda sucks. The old OST sucked in a charming, minimalist way. I liked getting laughed at by the OST.

Nope. There's no jumping, no plunge attacks, no jump attacks. This is their first proper 3D after King's Field, they weren't that experimental. A bunch of weapons didn't even combo properly.
