I’m a huge INT/FAI enjoyer and the dual spell school staff is really fun with the teleport spell. If you teleport and cast a spell immediately, the casting animation is partially obscured. You can catch a lot of people off guard, especially if it’s unexpectedly an incantation. I like teleporting and using the death knight lightning spears or wrath of gold, for example.

i was watching a Saint Riot video the other day and he mentioned that Elden Stars is whatever for damage BUT it’s great for giving you free hit stun when you’re trying to chase down a phantom. been meaning to try it out myself

I suggest Gravitational Missile -> Stand in it for cover -> Elden Stars -> Land of Shadows - gravitation missle -> Stand in it -> the DLC cold magic sorcery spam. Throw in some skulls for good measure. Maybe try the Magma spell that puts a landmine on the ground, if they approach after Gravitation Missile runs off. Also use Ghostflame Explosion. It does insane damage and is a great Get Off Me tool with Endure. Has surprising range that catches many off-guard and often 1 shots. You just literally spam cast spells through rotation.

If you use the Ash of War Last Rites before casting Elden Stars, the annoying little pebbles become infuriating. The total chip damage goes from like 150 damage to like 400. It's very funny.

A faith int build focused on magma spells with some of the coverage from fire incantations could be pretty interesting. Roiling magma can have some rather beefy damage and flame of the fell god can give some decent cover to throw them out.
