Using the golden arcs as a foil to hers, and the crouch attack as a dodge was really neat, but my jaw dropped at 1:06 with the effortless look of those simple backsteps. The follow-up with your own Carian Superiority at point-blank range, followed by all the hard parrying and that _brilliant_ Placidusax & reflection finale. Spectacularly creative & absolute artwork!

The point blank lack of hitboxes is a pretty huge oversight on fromsoft's part. I'm surprised they never patched this

@@the_ubermensh I'm not talking about the backstep, I'm talking about the carian sovereignty he was able to pull off while rellana was doing her phase change attack. You can just stand next to her and not do anything, and all her attacks will still miss you. It's pretty wild

Cinematic as always. I love the dodge with claws, when you use the ducking at the beginning of the animation. Also the dodge with laser over the moon fall attack is just sweet. Nice variation of spells aswell. Probs :)

It's crazy, when you actually learn a boss well enough, you realize how simple their moves can be to dodge/counter. So many things bosses do (especially in this game compared to previous Fromsoft entries) are deceptively easy to deal with, but only if you don't panic and/or don't react like how the devs expect players to react. I'm usually pretty bad against Rellana, but I feel like I've already learned more just from watching this video than I have from dozens of failed attempts against her in my own playthroughs.
