The dlc is incredibly good, but super challenging, and i've been playing these games since like 2009 lol. I just beat Messmer and he is super fast, super aggressive, and hits like a truck. The Bayle the Dread fight is my favorite though, the music is so so good.

The dlc is amazing 3 lord boss's down and a hand full of other boss's. This dlc is really testing a lot of people really making them cry on forms "I LOVE IT, TIME TO GET GOOD".

It's no where near as bullshit as the end of the base game, all of the remembrance bosses I've fought so far (4) have been pretty fair imo compared to shit like maleketh and placidusax

Nah, those people are just have to high ego and fight a boss solo. The game have many tool for you to use and that include a summoning being to help you in a fight. Those people just refuse to use it that why it too hard for them.

"Everything is proceeding as I have forseen" it is harder then the main game. No matter what high level you have, you must start from scratch, cause different types of opponents, new movesets, combats, spells and stuff.. and many people are complaining about it, but hey.. thats what you have to expect from a Fromsoft Game.

This DLC is so insanely difficult that it genuinely made me hate and love the game even more than before. The most common enemies can kill you in two hits and the hardest bosses hit like a semi going 100MPH.

@@HonestOpinions4u A lof of people dislike the (lore & design) direction they went with the final boss, even though the moveset, music etc. still makes for a fantastic battle. The general boss roster of Elden Ring got a MASSIVE boost from Shadow of the Erdtree though, and the overall package can now stand next to DS3, BB, and Sekiro imo. ...and the world design, variety, and scale of it all.. holy sh*t I love it!
