Location: Darklight Catacombs
Difficulty: 2/10
Strategy: Jori is found at the end of Darklight Catacombs. This boss uses only ranged attacks, either shooting magic projectiles at you or magic the ground glow which then causes damage after a short delay. When you get close to this boss it will teleport away. It also summons some other spirits for help. Because the boss stays mostly stationary you can call your Mimic Tear to distract it, then fire Comet Azur spell and you might kill it in one attack. Otherwise just keep shooting Great Glintstone Shard spell at it. The boss doesn't have much health.

This is actually the worst boss in the DLC. People complain about Rellana or the Scadutree Avatar but they're just playing those bosses wrong. This boss is actually bs. All he does is stay at a distant, spam his stupid holy magic and while he's doing that, he spawns in like 3 enemies including a giant that will block your vision so you can't see when he's casting his spells meaning that you have no idea what he's doing and so you just die.

@@mingQWERTY it’ll do the stagger than disappear, employ this strategy: Use any summon that’s mobile, preferably one that can stagger the boss, bum rush it as soon possible so you can potentially keep it staggered forever, I personally had it in a bleed bonk stagger loop. Then, if you can’t kill it by the time it summons stuff, focus on the summons, they’ll leave in one hit, then get aggressive on him, rinse and repeat. He can also be backstabbed so keep that in mind As for his offensive magic, make use of the tombstones in the area, they block the one you’ll worry about the most, the machinegun rings of light You gotta treat him almost like Gideon, rush him down, and if you can’t do that, keep a good distance, take cover, than try to get your staggers and backstabs in

@kingkunta3753 I try my best not to use summons. Ik ik I should use what the game gives me but I enjoy it more if I don't. But yeah, I started using Tiche after a few tries and then it took me 3 more to get him. Still not fun

Worst part is trying it solo... And no one is dropping there signs to assist. I have use my mimic and noticed sometimes it just stands there instead of attacking and it only has one weapon and a spell ... Really annoying spamming that the boss does take literally half my health away.

the summoning is broken in the DLC,at first i thought i was to slow and someone else was summoning the players before i did but then i found a friend who was online and have the game so i asked for help and i was able to see his sign but when i went to summon him i got the ,,unable to summon cooperator'' message even if we set a password so no one else can interfere.I was looking online for some fixes but there aren't any,i also have a wired connection and a download speed of 460mb/s so there is no connection issue but a game bug

Yea I was getting pretty mad because my summon signs aren't working at each boss area. My mimic wasn't rushing the boss it stayed back but after I died then my mimic attacks the boss like bro I'm running around wasting flask healing while the boss is spamming holy magic at me.

I've been through most of this fight down to the inquisitors last sliver of health many times and every time I go in for the final hit, the huge guy spawns right in my face to block me with hit box and its so frustrasting how the fight changes up a lot except for that one thing, but I'm not quitting. Its such a weak boss. Its only hard because spamming magic and calling in an army is cringe.

So something I noticed is at every 1/4 or 1/3 part of his health he'll teleport if he can and usually was teleporting to the same places so you can get him to that point and run it to attack while he summons. Unknown if backstabbing works in the state. This and luck is how I beat it.

I used my grestsword to deal damage to him and stagger him and the sacred relic sword to get rid of the summons solo and it worked pretty well

Don't give up! You can seek cover behind any gravestone or tree when it does the arc attacks. When they do the attacks from the ground, rush them and backstab. Having a mimic tear really helps as well.

You skipped all the hidden treasures, and didn't turn on the light. If you just want to showcase the boss, why not edit out the previous section? Who cannot figure that part out, it's a one way down.

I beat it using a spirit ash (dung eater), scarlet rot bolts, bleed bolts and dry lift. I liked this fight. What i am interested on is if there was a gimmick in that dungeon, like maybe if the lights were off, a different path would appear, or sth
