Pro tip. Bloodhound fang is much easier to get if you cheese it and pick up Blaidd’s quest to kill the guy in the jail. He’s then available as a summon and you can leave him to kill the boss: meaning so long as you have the stats to use the weapon you can basically get it pretty much instantly!

Pro tip, the bloodhound knight is pretty easy if you don’t get greedy! Wait for his attacks because he leaves pretty long openings for a heavy attack and you can use a 100 block rating shield to negate all his damage (except watch out for the blood loss!)

@@bencansdale he literally obtains the weapon for the very first build in the video. You’re also correct (well done) you can’t change the ash on any of the unique/named weapons. I suppose you’ll next be telling me I can’t use normal smithing stones to upgrade it?

This is the best OP early video out I've seen. Since release I have come across hundreds of these but all of them just turn into pick any weapon and use the same three incantations lol. It is very refreshing to not see Golden Vow, Flame Grant Me Strength, and Howl of Shubriri in every build. Props to showing that builds focused on a specific stat can excel without saying "make sure to get 15 faith to use this crutch incantation."

When you are in the Selia Crystal Tunnel, grab the Rot grease that is next to the grace. It makes taking out Greyoll a lot faster, when you put it on your bleed weapon like the mace.

I used the Paladin for my starting build, I cannot convey how damn good it is. However if you are starting out I would advise the pure strength build because it is faster to get and doesn't have you going into the capital early on, then respeccing into the Paladin later.

Hi quick question with the build so you need 22 strength to use the weapon properly unless you dual wield and for the spell he picks up requires 25 faith do you just level up to those stats before you can even use it?

@@jacobformato3298 I don't remember exactly how two handing works in Dark Souls, but with the stats he recommends you can use the weapon perfectly fine when held with both hands. This means to cast spells you need to stop two handing then cast them. And yes, golden vow does need 25 faith and like all spells you need the required stats or above to use it. However, there is a weapon at version of that spell which can be put on a dagger or other light weapons.

Absolutely. Big bonk, poise break builds with good hyperarmor allow people who are struggling (like me) to play and win at elden ring.

@@jacobformato3298 when u 2 hand a weapon ur strength is increased by 50% so if u had say 16 strength u would have 24 strength while 2 handing the weapon which in turn makes it do more damage if it has a strength scaling modifier, as for the 25 faith for golden vow i prefer to get the ash of war and stick it on a dagger the requirements are a lot lower plus u dont have to fight a nasty invasion to get it like u do for the actual incantation

@cidien bloodhound finesse. Back flip slash. Apparently if you do a follow up input you teleport strike forward. I didn't know that, and I used that weapon a ton.

For anyone following the "warrior" build or planning to. The erdtree guardians in caelid have been patched and are now hostile. They are still weak though , but be carefull as they can gang up on you.

wow even without horns and tail the immortal paladin build smacks, having the ability to heal back so much from attacking makes for an easier and less worrisome time for a non soulsborne like myself, i dont mean by going gung ho on everything in site but knowing that i can take on nights cavalry without having to constantly dodge about makes a huge difference in confidence, much appreciate this build and all the other builds iv tried of urs

Another thing I've done during this route is kill the Nights Calvary, you can get him to jump off fairly easily and it gives you 42000 runes. Super handy for getting things started.

I just built this build. I had to lose the armor for higher defense and poise but not until Morgott. It is one of tge top 3 builds I've played as far as just having fun playing goes. So far. I am going back to the royal remains armor and heading towards fire giant. I have never had the ancient death rancor and I must say, it's hilarious. Morgott didn't stagger as well as I hoped but eventually I figured out the timing. I'm at level 80 now. And invested a lot in faith and intelligence. So my Vigor is only around 22. I died alot trying to kill Morgott, but you know, learning. When I did finally kill him, I was hitless until the final blow and he barely touched me with the tip of the spear so I only lost a sliver of health. Thanks for the fun. Also, my favorite fun build before this was the captain. I went full cosplay, like with the hat and patch and all. Hilarious. Keep up the good work.

11:54 or before u go in head to the Woods to next to the jail, find the ruins go back to the first merchin, ask about the howling, go back to the woods, use the finger snap emote, talk to blide then once your in the jail he'll help kill the boss. Just incase anyone has trouble doing it solo I almost did so help is always nice lol 😅😂

Vagabond is my starting class for every new game I’ve tried the Samurai one time but Vagabond will always be my favorite Also just a side not for people starting the Radagon soreseal is a good talisman for boosting stats but keep in mind the trade off is you take 15% MORE damage when it’s equipped so keep that it mind if you’re new to Elden Ring. Great video though even though I’ve already got the platinum for Elden Ring & played through like 6 times I always like watching peoples video guides

Just started my elden ring journey. I've checked out a few other folks builds, but I think yours tend to be more on the creative side of things (nothing against the others) and give me a few ideas of my own that I want to attempt. For instance. That demon mage, I want to use some of that for like a dark samurai mage. I'm coming from nioh 1&2, so im trying to get my bearings and get adjusted to the combat and whatnot. Much more slower pace than I'm used to. Other than that, these have been fun and interesting and inspiring.

So i fiddled with your Vagabond Bloodflame hellhound build a little. i tried out a couple different buff incantations and i found that with the bloodflame incantation you can buff the damage even further by incorperating the Flame, Grant me strength incantation. you can also buff this even further with the commanders standard ash of war. it made the boss fights 2 times faster and much easier as both incantations add 20% more physical damage and 20% damage negation. just wanted to put this here in case someone wanted a secondary path to go with if they want to buff rush the bosses

the Commanders standard also only requires 24 strength and 14 dex, so it fits perfectly in with the build. and all i had to do was raise faith to 15 for the Flame, Give me strength buff.

and when you need to re-buff you can use the wolf summon to distract them for you to buff up again. plus in the begining when you have the soreseal still equiped the Commanders standard ash of war negates the "takes 15% more damage" effect and makes it so then you take 5% damage negation

Just for fashion’s sake, I would either use a different helm on your paladin or greyish/silver armor. The clash between the iron of the great helm and the gold of the rest of the armor gives me conniptions. Additionally, I think Great Mace fits better thematically.

He's using Eleanora's Poleblade upgraded to +4 (by using the dude just south of Carian Manor to upgrade it.) I know this is the case, as I've been using this build for over a week (and I love it.) So, try that and you should be good to go! 😎👍🏻

We need a new ultimate best bleed build is it still the double scavenger with full arcane? Since ash of war Seppuku got nerfed to adding only +40 bleed build up which is the exactly same as the Bloodflame incantation OR the blood grease which you can put on your weapon. They don’t stack so that’s not an option SO what ash of war should we use and what weapons? WE NEED ANSWERS FOR DLC THE HYPE IS BACK 2:22:28 need that one too FAST PLS

I just started a Hero heavy stone club with Endure ash of war. Farm the stone club at level 25 or so using spinning slash after critical hit on battle mage outside Sellia Hideaway. Took me twenty minutes to grab the weapon! The heavy stone club using Endure is JUST PLAIN STUPIDLY OP! I just traded blows with Mohg Lord of Blood at level 125. Very satisfying trading blows with the bosses and getting critical hits! Talismans used, turtle, axe and dagger talisman. Using dragon crest talisman until I pick up rotten wing sword insignia. Flask has stamina Regen cracked tear and thorny cracked tear which stacks with rotten wing sword insignia. Trading blows with bosses and coming out on top using Endure ash of war is my favorite way to melee in Elden Ring.
