I love how for the Kickstarter roulette they always project onto chat 'Oh! You naughty filthy minds! You want THIS ONE, don't you? Ultra-Mega Waifu Model mk69?' You can tell they're kind of disappointed when chat doesn't go with it. Just do the 2 mature picks each, the chat pick, and the degenerate pick and just call it the VOD-Gobo pick, the reaction alone is always good for a laugh.

A game that you might find interesting is Crying Suns. It has some similarities to FTL in theme and gameplay but is still quite different, it has a nice pixel artstyle and a Dune inspired grimdark setting.

Can't help but think that Tom was slowly re-creating Baxter Clagmore during character creation. Until he started again at least. Whereas Ben was creating a Spacefaring Guild navigator, with a tiny 'v' for a mouth and an ugly flap of a nose. Happy to see the legacy of "NO MIDDLE SLIDERS" continued.

Disagreed, PvP has always been integral to souls games and is responsible for keeping their game community’s alive. I appreciate people wanna play like this but gutting/removing PvP spits all over a large part of the loyal souls community (and IMO ruins the entire point of the game. co-op makes it easier and for a game that’s mean to be challenging PvP was the trade off to not make it a total cake walk)

@@BONAH42 PvP is only an integral part of a Souls game to the minority of people that partake in it. The vast majority of people who play these games don't care about, or even want, the PvP. That's why multiplayer has always seemed like a secondary consideration in the way it works, because it is.

they got further then i ever did. I got killed by that first mini boss got out into the open world and looked around - thought the art style of the game was ugly and gave up. Got a steam refund.
