Elder Omens Live Session + Q&A

In April 2021 we "celebrated" the one-year anniversary of Omens - an album we never had a chance to play live yet. We decided to film a short live set to celebrate that anniversary and also give fans a chance to 'preview' the material live.
Recorded between Germany and Massachusetts (where band members reside), the session was mixed by Richard Behrens at Big Snuff Studio in Berlin. Liquid light visuals and editing magic by Palantir Visuals

I love the change up on the vocals of Nick lately (the last album in perticular). It is quite brave to scale back the delay like this, must have been scary as fuck for him. He doesn't need all the delays though. This sounds frekkin great!

As I listened to 'Omens' the first couple of times it didn't catch me. So on some evening in june, when the days where really long and the sky was clear without any clouds, I smoked some wonderful homegrown weed, sat on my balcony with headphones and listened to the album. And as the colours in the sky shifted from red, to yellow, to green, to blue and common swifts (birds that are like stunt flyers) rushed over my head the music grabbed me and completely blew me away!🌈😍 It was such a magical experience!💜 And since then the album grew with me more and more and now it's my favorite from this wonderful band! 👌💜

I listen to all kinds of music. Black metal, technical death metal, punk, grindcore, powerviolence, crust, progressive anything, jazz. From wormrot, to meshuggah, to archspire, to sikth, to king crimson, to steely dan, to turnstile, to mgla, to imperial triumphant......elder is without a doubt the best band ive ever had the privilege of listening to. A sonic landscape without comparison. A beautifully composed aural masterpiece every goddamn time. I must see this band live. It is a moral imperative.
