In Skyrim, I was actually a hero before I stumbled upon the Ebony Blade. I was a master two handed Nord with deadric armour. The Ebony Blade was perfect for me. I killed absolutely all my friends and now I can beat anyone on Master difficulty. So the part about perverting the most decent men thing is true

I powered the Ebony Blade by marrying a random woman and then slaughtering her and all the friends that showed up to our wedding. Then proceeded to raise a couple of their corpses and kill them as well. Best thing was, I told the guards I was the thane and got off scot free. I then fulfilled the last one required with killing my follower for Boethiah. It was a fun run, and similarly, my character was also a good guy until finding the blade. The deadric princes can really give good RP runs, lol.

There is a way to powerup Ebony blade to it's max without killing any of your friends. First you have to take the Ritual Stone perk which let's you revive any dead NPC Infront of you for 1 day. So what I did was that I hired a mercenary and took him in an abandoned place and killed him. I used the ritual stone and revived him and then killed him again. Then wait for 24 hours and do the whole procedure again. After doing it 10-15 mins you will get a notification that Ebony blade is upgraded to it's max. Just make sure you don't decapitate the companion else Ritual stone wouldn't revive decapitate NPCs. So I guess this theory also proves people killed by Ebony blade don't go to Mephala's Oblivion else there won't be no way to revive them through Ritual Stone.

I must say, perhaps I simply haven't noticed, but the music in these videos has come along quite well. The background music certainly captured the scene perfectly, with an eerie harplike plucking to Mephala's scheming, to a unsettling set of tones as the viewer sees the hints of Hermaeus Mora. The quality is superb, thank you very much for that. And while I do nostalgically miss the enthusiasm in the narration of the earlier videos, I will say that as an art piece, these later ones capture the feeling of being in Tamriel perhaps better than the original set.

People keep asking ''how is this or that daedra good?'' but it's a meaningless question. The daedra can either be benevolent or malevolent towards an individual mortal, or a society, or the world at large.. so whom do you ask? One good way of thinking about the daedra princes is to compare humans to nonhuman animals. Humans use other creatures as entertainment, food, enslavement, etc. Similarly the daedra use the intelligent races of Nirn as entertainment, enslavement, etc.

I wouldn't say Mephala's commanding the Morag Tong to attack the Brotherhood disproves the notion that the Night Motheris an aspect of Mephala. If anything, I think constructing a confusing and elaborate scheme to pit her two groups of devotees against each other is definitely the kind of thing Mephala would enjoy. The Night Mother is physically little more than a withered husk. Even if it was destroyed, I'm sure Mephala could find a suitable new vessel with relative ease.

But wasn't the Night Mother a Dunmer woman who was in the Thieves Guild &/or the Morag Tong who sacrificed her five children to their father Sithis and was later burned in her home for that? I don't think Daedra can, or would like to live out a mortal life (that and the bones of the Night Mother and her children were in the Bravil Crypt). But are we talking about the main Night Mother or the one who called herself such in Morrowind? I also think before the Dark Brotherhood Mephala was called such, which is why the DB usurped the title for their own breakaway leader.

Mephala could've been "Sithis" talking to the woman, getting her to kill her children, then, after the woman's death, Mephala could have pretended that she's the womans's/Night Mother's spirit.

They don't realize that they're trying to worship Padomay with a lends of Lorkhan. Some of god Sithis' statues even have a missing heart like Lorkhan, who brought mortality therefore death. The brotherhood is relative brand new compare to other religion, even the tribunal. I don't see why the night mother can't be Vivec in female form. Btw, worshiping Padomay, would be like worshiping Anu, it wouldn't work.

UnpredictableSB the dark brotherhood originated from members from the morag tong who left and started their own faction due to the morag tong no longer worshiping mephala and now worshiping vivec, and no the night mother cant be vivec as vivec is canonically dead (weather the nerevarine killed him, or he died during the events of the oblivion crisis is up to debate though) but the night mother still exists, its much more likely the night mother is mephala the original god that the morag tong worshiped. and some legends say that anu and padomay did not fully die, padomay faded into the void but its unknown what anus fate is

So she is an Aedra that became a Daedra. That is why she looks so holy and radiant.

Good because she taught the Chimer how to sneak around powerful enemies and kill them quietly. It helped the Chimer survive when they first arrived in Morrowind, and so they venerate her for it.

TheRazer43 the good and evil Daedra are a belief solely belonging to the Dunmer, all the other races view the Daedra as incapable of being either good or evil with the exception of the Orcs who view Malacath as the one good Daedra. The Dunmer culture and religion is based upon the worship of Daedra, while most other races worship the Divine gods of the mortal realm and view the Daedra as Demons for this reason the good and evil Daedra are heavily biased based on Dunmer belief

The idea of the "three good daedra" is a purely chimer construction. No one else sees it this way. The reason we hear about it a lot is because of how popular Morrowind is in lore. Most of the truly deep and metaphysical stuff comes from TES:III.

She is just a fucking tool. Just as any other follower in Skyrim. They practicly have no souls, they will do whatever you want with them. You can gain them also in a very easy way. Just punch someone a few times and he or she will be your minion until death....and further.

Mephala has by far the best daedric artifact! Like you can just constantly swing and barley take any damage cuz u keep absorbing health, plus you don't need soul gems to recharge it

Those wondering about the loyalty of the various non-prince Daedra(Daedroth). Daedra are born of their associated prince but, in the immortal lives they live, when a Daedra is killed and reborn it swears fealty, until death, to the prince on who's shores the Daedra reforms. This also explains why Azura's Aureals service Sheogorath.

For those confused about Dunmer lore regarding views on the Daedric Princes: The Three "Good" Daedra: Mephala, Azura, and Boethiah. These three are revered and/or worshiped by nearly all Dunmer. Four Corners of the House of Troubles: Molag Bal, Mehrunes Dagon, Sheogorath, and Malacath. These four Daedric Princes are reviled in Morrowind, and those found guilty of their worship are to be killed. The rest of the Daedric Princes are considered neutral, or "grey" Daedra. Worship of these daedra is not prohibited necessarily, but not encouraged.
