Thank you, @evelynvarsovia3380. That feedback really helps as I seek each time to bring the best that I know how to bring for you and everyone here at Families In The Millennium. The Lord Jesus Christ is so amazing, and I'm so grateful for His servants the apostles seeking to help us find joy and stability in such interesting times. And I'm so thankful for you and your presence here at this channel. You are needed in today's world!

This episode was an eye opener for me. I must admit, I have never read Ether or the end of the BOM because it has always been too sad for me to handle. I'm a convert and it was just too much for me having C-PTSD. But we are right now reading of the end of whole civilizations at this time in our CFM and it feels like miraculous timing from God. It has gotten me to finally begin that Reading journey- right at this point of the real and sober possibility of the third world war. Because Your episode of this topic and your links are such a help. Thank you for this wonderful thing you are doing. God bless you. Sincerely Jean Bess

I will be praying for you, Jean! And I'm so grateful for your thoughts and what you shared. You're right, the book of Ether and the end of the Book of Mormon are tough to read. Why would people rather kill each other than learn from the prophets how to love, even when it's hard (it CAN be so hard sometimes to do that). I'm actually addressing that in the next episode releasing Tuesday, Nov 25, as we look at Ether 12-15. But, I'm grateful for the Savior Jesus Christ and His gentle ways of truth. And like you, I've learned His ways are truthfully the better ways! May God bless you greatly during the trials you've had.

I woke early this morning in the middle of the night, praying for some insight to the aches of my heart and found this message. I had been led to ponder three general conference talks from October: Nelson, Bednar, and Stevenson. I feel like I'm at the base of Mt. Everest. It seems like an impossible climb in the coming days. I appreciate your insights of joy. I will continue to pray and ponder with a more hopeful and faithful lens. Love you sister❤️

My family is quite broken, dysfunctional, hearts are wounded, bitter. Most of my family members dont have a desire to gather together in unity and love. Its a very hard thing to watch other families gather in unity and love to do wholesome recreational activiites , but to not be able to experience that . Im working on trying to grow my faith that someday this might happen for me, but feel hopeless currently

There are many here who can relate to your pain. I keep doing my best, and strive to have faith in the promises that one day all will be made while through the loving atonement of Christ. Let us all stay steadfast in the meantime and feel the love from each other in our trials.

I'm so sorry, so sorry for all the pain. @MikellJenkins, you are an inspiration as you keep moving forward. And one day your steady light in Christ - like a lighthouse on a shore - will do so much. You are crucial in really profound ways. And I'm so glad you're here to feel the love of many in this community too. The Lord is mindful of you. I know this, and He is capable of bringing forth such great miracles in your behalf - and His timing will be so perfect for you! And the blessings so richly restoring. I love how our God is a beautifully compensatory God. He sees tears and knows how best to dry them. Thank you for inspiring us all with your resilience.

I seem to remember reading in the scriptures something about when the prophets stop warning the people is the most dangerous times. All the prophets and apostles seem to focus on hope and joy except Elder Bednar's. It's like a calm before the storm.

Is he saying to listen to these conference talks to test if they are true?
@FamiliesInTheMillennium4 сағат бұрын
What a great question, @lindamann3970! The litmus test for me could be compared to a flashlight. We shine a flashlight into dark places to discern where there is safety and where there is not. The flashlight itself is true and steady, but sometimes our surroundings are not. For me it is the same with the messages from conference (being free to use them as flashlights in modern society). The divine principles contained within the conference addresses are true and steady, and when shone into today's world they help light the path - that way we can avoid danger and find safety. Such a great question!
