This is the 3rd in my series of making Elderflower Champagne -
Here I am testing the sugar content with a hydrometer of the earlier made fresh flower elderflower fizz (river cottage recipe), in an attempt to avoid exploding bottles. The dried champagne is on the left and is too early to test needs another 3 weeks I think.

All which suggest bottling at 1010 -- 1005.
Next instalment in a few weeks and I am still searching for more remaining fresh flowers out there -- not enough in easy to reach places to make another fresh brew.....
