spectral subtraction is supposedly coming some day after the remote thing is out when ever that happens. In the meantime that BHI box is impressive.

If I spent the money on a K4. I would be highly upset if I had to buy an additional product to handle noise reduction

I find just using the NR and RF gain control on the K4D does a really good job of eliminating background noise

I use a ClearSpeech or BHI speaker or external filter on every radio I own that does SSB & AM including my ICOM 7610,ICOM 9100,ICOM 7000,& ICOM 703+. I HATE noise & I do what's possible so I don't hear any or as little as possible. I'm a believer in their products.
