Thanks for sharing this video!! I was torn between the Specialized "Corridor" and this bike. I am 68, 5'4" , fit and trim but deal with moderate to severe knee osteoarthritis. I still love to ride leisurely and the forward pedaling has enabled me to continue to ride. This is the perfect bike for me and anyone confronted with joint limitations and disabilities. I ride it around town at home and during my vacationing in Naples. I enjoy riding it near and around the beach! It's also perfect for sight seeing. Thanks again for sharing this info! 😉👍😀

Good review! I have the Townie Path 9D which is a crossover for street and gravel path. People always comment on how low the seat is - but that's the way it is supposed to look. Remember, the object is to be able to put both feet flat on the ground when you stop. If you are standing on the balls of your feet, then you have the seat too high - for the Townies. That' what flat foot tech is all about.

Hi, Thank you so much for sharing. I had a bad fall off my bike and I was looking for a safer bike. This looks nice however, I am afraid because you need to pedal forward and that will cause pressure on your back. I am thinking about having a saddle with back support to eliminate the issue. Do you have any suggestions regarding my concern? I have a back pain.

I just bought a used Electra 7 and I love it. I would like to get some new parts for it but I don’t know what kind to get. I want a new derailleur, brakes and I guess you would call it a cassette. They work but are a bit rusty. All I know is that it has a Tourney Derailleur but don’t know what model. I did find a new Revoshift SL-RS35 shifter. Any help with part numbers or where to find replacements or if I can upgrade the old parts would be greatly appreciated.

Are the step through designs for women? I know traditionally they were, but would a 26 inch townie step through be too small for a 5'10 220 lb man?
