Thanks for that! We definitely tried to do the best we could so people could get a good idea what to expect, especially since we've spent so much time on all of them. Much appreciated! :)

I'm trying to figure out the best for my buck have a 7 year old and a 10 year old.. I'm so confused trying to figure it out on a budget....
@mushlymush Жыл бұрын
Hey there, I'd definitely NOT recommend the Rosso, it's way too small for a 7 or 10 year old. My 10 year old still rides the Razor (Green ATV, it's the cheapest at Target for $459) and even though it's a bit small for him, it's still great. 7 is a good age for the green ATV too. The only other option out there is the bigger Razor dirt quad (it's white and on Amazon it's $1,000). If it were us, I'd buy the green Razor again since it has outperformed and outlasted all the other ones.

@mushlymush Appreciate your time/help... My neighbor just bought a 2012 Honda 50 Dirt-Bike with training wheels "Orange" thing was barely used $900 bucks. But I'm thinking quad would be better. ..Thanks
@mushlymush Жыл бұрын
@@tommythunder9491I mean, a Honda 50 is a great bike too though a little small for a 10-year-old as well. If you're looking for something specifically electric, then the Razor dirt quad is a good go-to. But if you're looking for something gas (or you're debating between electric/gas), then you might want to go gas because your kids will have a lot more power to get around and you don't have to worry about charging anything!

This video was such a help. I have my eyes on the joyracer for a almost 7 year old. Would you recommend the joyracer over the razor?
@mushlymush2 ай бұрын
@@JDLandis77 So far, the joyracer has been pretty solid, and the speed has been great (better than the Razor). The only thing is the axles; my 5 yr old has hit some hard curbs or tried to pop over a bump and I am seeing the rear axle starting to bend again. On Amazon the Joyracer seller was super helpful and sent me parts and such, so that's a plus. I would buy the Joyracer again, but be prepared to work on it a little.

Razor has a 36v quad now and ebully has a 36v also
@mushlymush Жыл бұрын
This IS the 36v ebully, it was just branded as "off road mall" on Amazon during the time when we purchased it. I mention the 36v Razor, but we have not purchased that one since it1s about $1,000 and only goes 9 mph (only 1mph faster than the 24v for half the price).

Isn’t the idea of buying these so your kids can’t go out of control and up crazy jumps and hills? Isn’t the idea just so they can get comfortable riding these and just puttering around?
@mushlymushАй бұрын
Um, no? Not necessarily? These are designed for back yard or field fun. So, if they can't even get over a moderate hill, then people deserve to know that. These shouldn't be like PowerWheels where they go 2 mph on a flat pavement. These are being advertised as actual off roading ATVs for kids--the entry level, before you put them on a 50 or a 110. So these electric ATVs SHOULD have some standard, basic, performance ability on dirt and hills.

@@mushlymush This review of e-quads are great. I think I might be looking for gas powered. Any advice on which one to get for a 9 year old?
@mushlymush6 күн бұрын
@@btsmanman Thanks. We've owned the Polaris Outlaw 110 and the Mototec Rex (and ordered some others online). If you can afford it, go for a name brand like Honda because it will be FAR better than any others. I would NOT buy a gas ATV on Amazon or Walmart -- the returns /warranty/customer service are terrible and you'll have more problems than anything. I would not buy the Mototec or any of the lower end, Chinese-made bikes because we've done nothing but wrench on them (two broken chains, bent rear axle, carb rebuild, broken electric starts).... If I could do it all over again, I'd buy a new Honda if I could wing it or I'd get a lightly used Honda or Suzuki!

You sounded surprised and disappointed that these aren’t full-blown motocross ATVs
@mushlymushАй бұрын
There's a huge spectrum between your kid's Barbie powerwheel and a motocross ATV. I am trying to show people where these lie within that spectrum. You want a motocross ATV, then go buy a Honda for 8k or whatever. This video is designed for people with kids in the 4-12 age bracket who either can't handle or the parents can't afford a gas ATV. I'm trying to show which electric ATV actually has enough power to have fun on hills, dirt, and in the fields as opposed to the ones that are basically worthless.
