Either you love "Schlager" in Germany, or you absolutely hate it... its like that cringy music you listen to while partying (obviously drunk) on "Mallorca" or hear for "Apres Ski" (after skiing). And usually everyone who loves heavy music hates Schlager! (or at least wouldn't hear it privately) 😂

This just is how every Schlager Song should evolve... There is a Dollar store kind of shop here in my area, where they play the most random and terrible Schlager all day, and to be honest, as much as I love the bargains I get there, I allways feel the urge to zombiefy the owner for their nonexistant taste in music... EC just made my darkest shopping related fantasies become their own Song... and yes, again: I cried laughing, thisbis just brillant!

They clearly mocked the German music genre "Schlager", the lyrics didn't fit at all to the cheesy music , chessy acting and thing im "build up"-part. Look for Wendler, a german schlager star , with his song "Egal" (but don't forget that is really German schlager, you've been warned) and you get some references in this video. But how times has changed, I remember you first reaction to Hypa, Hypa and you felt pranked. And now you sit here and you are analyzing zombie apocalypse.

I was picturing a return to the Schlager where they become zombies but have ghost-like versions of themselves continuing the song as they shamble along. Then as the Schlager winds down and sounds like the song is ending some army dude pops off the rotten queen and Kevin goes off screaming again. Could have doubled the length of the song.
