yes, 4 years ago, we put 40kw of solar and 25 kw Battery on our business in Alice Springs, with enough surplus to add a 30kw fast charger for the public and still have $0 bills down from $1k per month... never going back!

Very impressed. No doubt it would cost more than stated amount of NZ $250k if sponsorship is excluded, but when you consider.the scale of the project even a cost of NZ $300k would still be cheap.

Also the cherry on top is they get to ask a premium price for their product. If kiwi farmers were smart, they are not by they way, they would all switch to such systems immediately. China could supply solar pv in a 'blink of a eye'. But Shame slip me a koha Jones likes fossil money better.

Gav checking out his happy place, and then to put the cherry on top they're converting an old Hilux to electric. Too much!!! And in associated news we're seeing our own in-credit monthly electricity accounts for the first time this summer, with both EVs fully charged. Roll on summer.

I have a Nissan Leaf and Hyundai ioniq 28kw... The 2 cheapest EV I could afford... about 2 years already without buying any petrol. But still 2 years ago these EV is still sooo expensive. But I save alot of petrol cost already for the past 2 years :) I think another 10 years before I could get my Return of investment...
