I'm interested in your cat. I'm in California. I brought builder. I've never built one of these but I'm a fan.

really nice mate. Will you be looking to scale production or make to order?
@eDubServices7 ай бұрын
Both. This product is ready now to fit at our workshop, but we will also be scaling to supply internationally.

@@eDubServices You seem to be one of the only ones to sincerely be trying to get something out, so us normal people might get a chance to convert and actually get to use of buses, so good on you for grinding away mate. P.s. Not sure what hardware you're using for CCS but Johannes Hubner has a PCB ready for release that will cut the cost

Can you answer a question about the motor?, this is a question from someone who has worked with 3phase ac motors for 40 years. They use 3 phase ac motors that have a phase angle of 120 degrees can say that this happens with your conversions as this affects efficency of the motor. Also does it run in star or delta or a combination of the 2. Im guessing they use star which gives you more torque to pull away etc. This would also explian why they are not so good on the motorway as star uses more current. Most industrial motors change from star to delta at 60 percent speed as delta is more efficient at higher speeds.

We think so!

On a T2 that has beefed up braking system and better suspension, can I still tweak the power the motor will output or is that locked at 110bhp?
@eDubServices7 ай бұрын
We will need to raise the output at our workshop with thorough testing. You won't be able to tweak it yourself, but we can be commissioned to do it.

What about a first gen bus? Is there plans for that in the future or would this kit work?
@eDubServices4 ай бұрын
Yes, a VW camper conversion will be launched very soon. Compatible with split screens from 1950. Contact us through the website and we’ll send you details!

How much does all of that weigh?
@eDubServices7 ай бұрын
Our e30 is amazingly, the same weight as the original engine, gearbox and a full 80litre fuel tank!

Any plans for t25’s? Also 100 miles? If anything needs a long range it’s a camper.
@fydstar7 ай бұрын
To clarify many camp sites don’t have electricity. Also how easy would the nc500 be to do with such a range? In fact someone must have tried it in an ev?
@eDubServices7 ай бұрын
This video show our e30 kit. We have a larger e60 for 175 miles range.
@eDubServices7 ай бұрын
I’m sure someone’s tried the NC500 in an EV. charge at the campsites or public charging stations

No plans for T25s unless someone commissions us

Love the idea but you could buy a new id buzz and convert it for about the same price as the battery kit. Hopefully the price will come down in the future
@eDubServices4 ай бұрын
Also consider the long time value of the vehicle. A classic will keep going up but an id buzz won’t

Cost? ...and would it fit a T25 1987 vintage?
@eDubServices7 ай бұрын
The kit pictured is £65k. There is a higher range kit for £80k with an extra battery box

Sorry, this is specifically designed to mount to T2 engine mount points, to keep the DVLA happy 😊
@andrewallen99933 ай бұрын
Good grief that's ridiculously expensive! I can get a re conditioned aircooled vw engine good for 100 000 for 1200 pounds and it only takes 2 hours to fit.
@VolodymyrKostenko-q1m2 ай бұрын
In Ukraine, 6 years ago, the T25 was equipped with a Nissan Leaf. 250 kilometers of run. He still uses that car every day. The engine was rewound, the controller was homemade. Unfortunately, he doesn't make custom cars.

@@eDubServices a brand new ID Buzz would be less, and whilst it doesn't have the same appeal as a classic T2 perhaps it would also have improved safety features.
