4:25 sorry professor, I did not quite understand why are we doing (y-s/2)^2 instead of y^2? oh I think I understand it now, because you are teasing the dipole as a point charge during the calculation? but shouldn't the calculation be based on the location of the position of the electron and the tested position? (even though the approximation will be the same).

Everything seems to be a hopeless case of just following instructions, until you realize that those dipoles in the cartesian plane are the rudimentary structure of the electric field inside the dipoles themselves, the ones we see on Google images when we search dipoles. Great video.
