Amazing all the models and era you convert. Thank you very much for these short tect talks, we love nerdy details. Would be nice to show on screen what you are talking about, because things are sometimes hidden to the fixed camera. And I'd say you should not bother adding background "music". Keep going please.

it's nice to see vintage cars being kept on the road 10/10 the price of a new electric car is very expensive .

Hello from Dallas Texas US. I love your work. My dream car would be a Chevrolet SSR convertible pickup truck converted to EV. One Tesla plaid motor should be enough for cruising. 🙂

Great video gents. Keep it up with showing the details (EV parts, fitment, fabrication, etc.).

The Jaguar SS is such a beautiful car, it’s great to see that your conversion is well thought through preserving the cars great looks. Using the Nissan drive unit looks to be a great solution, amazing that it only just fits into that space under the bonnet. I like the multi-piece battery box too, such a good idea stacking the battery boxes to fit it all in through the boot opening. Lastly I just love the Leaping Jaguar charge port!

As I understand the Jaguar ss arrived with a Ford 1600 crossflow engine so not such a great loss!

@@bobcat2378 You assume they put the engine in… cars do go through several owners sometimes…

@@bobcat2378 I think you misspelled "improved" as "ruined", because it's much better now. I plan to do something similar to my vintage Fiat Spider.

Wonderful work guys. Love the tidiness, engineering and layout - brilliant! Will your system provide regen braking? I converted a 1948 Singer Ute which I'm very pleased with. kzbin.info/www/bejne/l2PTmX6kp9yUkLc

Why would you ruin a beautiful piece of engineering like that by converting it to electric?sad!
@generalvoltage182111 ай бұрын
I'm not sure why you think it's ruined. They didn't cut it up, didn't lower the roof line, didn't LS swap it, didn't airbag the suspension or slam and stance it, they didn't cut the guards and put a widebody kit on it. What Am I missing?

@@bobcat2378 Unlike the things I mentioned, which almost never have someone complaining about the car being ruined, the EV swap can be put back to an original motor if someone wants. They have used original engine mounts etc, Hence it's not ruined. It's just more likely to be drivable and get out and about more readily.

@@generalvoltage1821 So it's temporarily ruined lol!

As someone else commented, it already had engine replaced with a Ford engine 🤷♂️
