I Love your work Space man cool Looking.. yes the surron Light bee and Talaria stings are fun and afordabel Bikes me and my gf love ours... I was looking at battery and controller upgrades but then The Talaria Dragon came out was thinking that would be the perfect bike for me if I was to have only 1 E moto $6800 around the size as the Ultra bee but more power i think 28kw stock and 21 18 Out of the Box.. How ever I got to put that on Hold and be Tankful for My Sting mx3 untill then.. lol

I’ve promised myself a used EM when I can afford it someday when my finances are in order. I envy all your toys. I think the only thing I have you beat on are Onewheels. I’ll be going VESC soon with the new GTV kit for my GT that is supposed to make it better than my GTS.

I absolutely absolutely love my EM. Sounds like you’re super into the EV stuff also! I wasn’t even aware of the GT kit for the GT. I’m definitely not on the level anymore than what I got! This last weekend I got to spend some time on mine at the beach Boardwalk in Bolsa Chica! I came along way this weekend. I’m being able to ride the board. Just measured my Ultra Bee and MX3 Talaria for you! UB is about 19 3/8" from rear of peg to axle, Talaria Sting MX3 is about 16 3/4". I definitely agree, I feel way more comfortable on the MX3 in technical, sketchy terrain. The UB is harder to get traction in that stuff even with a similar knobby. Curious that the UB did great at TKO last year, the only bikes to finish were the Emotions and Ultra Bees.

@RDT_IR did you happen to watch Max Gerstens course review from page. He wrote the Stark varg for the course preview. I thought it was super cool. The great thing about the Sur Ron is the swappable batteries. I think Max used up something like 89% of the battery on the.varg for one lap.

@@TRCa51 That sounds about right! I did see the Maxcam vid but didn't realize he went through the whole batt! Might need a couple of those 80Vs... Funny enough, I'm local to Max and the singletracks I've been learning on the last two years, he carved out.

Great content! I really appreciate all your videos. I'd love your input if you’re willing. I’m currently trying to decide between the Varg or the EM XR. I’m the same height and weight as you. I live in mountains of CO so will ride more rocky single and double track, along with old mining roads (for transitions). Looking for a great e-moto to explore with. I currently ride a 701 enduro and my skill level is average (but hoping to build on that with this purchase). With all that said, if in my shoes, which would you go for?

Would you say the EM would work good for single track? I have UB now like it but EM EX looks better built and more power adjustable. Also I am older and sit more than I used too, Is the EX comfortable enough to sit some on single track?? TIA Great content 😎

Thank you for leaving a comment and yes, I would say the EM works good for single track especially when it starts to get a little tougher. It is a very short seat height transition from sitting to standing up is a little bit more difficult even for me. Now that I’ve had the Stark Varg and the EM at the same time, I choose the when it’s more of a super tight super technical track and then I prefer the Stark Varg for a fast and flow single track. Hopefully that helps you a little bit, but there’s a lot more dealers that are starting to keep the EM XR in stock so you can go check it out. I will be doing a lot more reviews of both motorcycles starting in October. Any other questions you have please feel free to ask! Cheers!

@@mattcgtx4809 i’m 6 foot three and 34 inch inseam. I look at the EM as my long travel Trials motorcycle. Really that’s its roots and as the trail gets tougher is when that bike really starts to shine! I won’t have any ride out until October when I get back, I do think I’m gonna be putting out some great content on both the EM and the Stark!

On the EM Escape, could you run the OX brake LHRB with the stock caliper?

That I don’t know. I ended up running the Stark master cylinder had a custom made line that fit the angle of the stock EM caliper. I’m sure with some fabrication you can make one work. I just wanted to get the brake pedal out of the rocks.

How about electric KTM Freeride it has easy battery swapping?

I would have jumped on the KTM free ride on the first generation, but the charging is some weird 220 plug. That was the only reason I did not have one of those. I have an expedition truck that my electric motion and my Stark charge off with no problem, the solar and battery system I have. I never did get to ride one of the KTM free rides, but it really looks like that would’ve been up my alley if it wasn’t for the charging. I could’ve gotten a great deal on one. Thank you for asking!
