5.8.23 Another good start for moto 2. Looks like some water put down. Do you charge the battery any between motos? Looks like you have the speed to win in the beginning. Are you going to enter the Pala or Hangtown races? 4th and 2nd on the day good riding. Was the 2nd moto shorter? Sure do like to see the electric bike take on the gas bikes. Did you end up 2nd for the day?

Yeah, they watered the track right before both of my motos. First few laps were slippery and sketchy for sure! Yes, i always charge the bike while resting between motos. It takes about 1 minute per 1% gained, and i usually use about 2/3 battery in a moto like this, so about 1 hour to recharge. I may do the Pala amateur national, we'll see. 1st moto was 8 laps, i think they only had us go 7 laps in moto 2. Yeah, i went 4-2 for 2nd OA if you combined all the classes.

@@bwhaskell Great Video ! Great result ! Is was so interesting to watch… does the Alta lose a little power at the end of a moto like that (around 20 minutes) ?

Can’t wait to see you on the Stark! Will it be foot brake our left hand rear brake option? I’m a lifelong motohead but gonna opt for the hand brake.

I spec'd my Varg with the footbrake but also got a LHRB kit so i can swap between the setups. Curious to see what i'll like better on my local tracks!

@@bwhaskell Sounds like the perfect option. I’ve tried the LHRB on a KTM300XC w/Rekluse and liked it in the woods. Should work great for MX especially with RH first turns.

I always wanted to race in Cali (I'm upstate NY). but now that I see all of the cali tracks in color, they look (mostly) boring. I can't even tell the track from the track side on this and fox raceway. GH has some hills at least. I'd bet horrible out there with all those flat turns. oh! fun to see you on the alta in a race. hehe. looks like a massive advantage pretty much every where, eh? totally agree with the other poster that the varg is gonna shred, and it's just the tip of the iceberg.

It’s just too bad battery technology hasn’t reached parity with gasoline….I know at some point it certainly will.
