Electricity and Logic in No Mans Sky are quite easy once you understand the Basics. While not much changed since No Mans Sky Frontiers Released, it is good to have a fresh look at how Logic works in NMS.
In this video I will also show how to Power Automatic doors and make blinking and alternating lights.

You forgot a little trick : you can make a place that get illuminated by night only, by using a solar panel to control an inverter. One solar panel control the inverter the others charge the batteries (in case there is no electromagnetic source nearby)

The thing I love about wiring in no man's sky is spending hours making something work, getting it to work and then completely forgetting the process and not being able replicate it. *Place wire* Doesn't work *Delete wire and replace in different spot* It works....wait....how did I do that?

Great video, thank you! Minor point: when you are talking about electricity flow, closing a switch completes the circuit and allows electricity to flow; opening a switch interrupts the circuit and prevents electricity from flowing. It is exactly the opposite of valves and fluid systems.

The thing is, I actually should know this being an electrician... lol... It still does not sound as a logical explanation though... I will just copy paste this: I think the first person writing the guides to these logic gates actually made a mistake, but did not want to reprint them, so they just went along with it... 😂

@@Beeblebum Yeah, I worked with relays almost every day in my job, sometimes with multiple relays wired together to create logic circuits, and NMS confuses me ! I think maybe if I wasn't so used with how real life relays work I could get the hang of this easier.

@@Beeblebum Yes. So if the wall is at a 45 degree angle on the bottom so it sticks out by 45 degrees then a wall above at 45 degree angle it would look like a diamond shape. Is the best way I can describe it lol
