So you can't put the top speaker with just one attachment? If so that would be a huge oversight in design. Bose L1 compact allows no extension or 1 or 2 extension and I think great design for home use or a small crowd sitting up close.

You actually can with the 30M. The 50M you can order the part or purchase it with the specified height.

You have to use both extensions with the 30M unless you buy the shorter pole.

as a wedding dj i want to ask you if two evolve 30m , will succesfully cover a 250 people outdoor wedding party? I had rent two ev50's and they did it! But what about the ev 30's? Are gonna make it?

Doubt it, especially if its outside. At least if it was inside depending on the ceilings and the room resonance you might have a chance, but outside the bass would be lost

Stupid idea for a speaker - dynacord desks are brilliant - ev speakers are good but this product is flawed as you dont need a mixer on a speaker we have these things - its underpowered and lacks mid range and if you have two you have to run a lead from one speaker to the other. If you do small bars only then yeah but personally I would go with the Maui 28 G2 over any colum speaker in this range as they have more mid range sound or stick with the older ev evolve 50....its not a good idea EV product delopment have not looked at the weaknesses of their last system and improved these areas they have added lots of crap we dont need. Having to link 2 speakers with a lead is pointless as there is two mixers that need to go into one. I hate the way they market their products giving out free systems to online influencers to demo and give biased reviews and would rather they gave then to someone starting out and let them film reviews, I have bought their products all my life but sold my evolves as they clipped out and to be honest they sounded harsh when turned up and lacked both power and mid range.... EV HAVE NOT EVOLVED

@@rodeoman2751 Ok where is the mid range then in these things? - i been a singer guitar playeer and a dj for decades too - i dont see many singers using them if any because A they clip out B crancked up they sound like crap compared to a proper speaker in anything other than a coffeee shop or small bar which yeah tey are ok for so yeah small parties fine but they are over hyped and there are not even the best column speaker on market so no chance comparing them to a 'proper speaker'. Lets compare tho - my yahmaha DSRs totally blow them away easily on sound power clarity versitlity and price so you are the one talking absolute pap ...but if you want to bet i will put my house on it and take your money.

@byromtaylor6482 What ARE you talking about? Either your ears are burned out, you've never actually tried a 30m, or you arent using it properly. We use these and the 50m's on a regular basis. The session guys we use (some of whom have been been around since time began) rave about the Evolve line arrays. We (they) use these week in week out. The only line arrays we have had problems with are the Bose towers, even the build quality of the Evolve out strips those never mind the sound quality. You want to "bet your house on it" ha ha grow up man! You're a little over eager there... that tells a story in its self
