I just want to say this was a phenomenal explanation. Concise, clear, and easy to follow. You've made a pretty complicated biochemical pathway of reactions into something that is understandable. Can't find a better video than this, good job!

At last, someone who can explain things step by step, providing context and images to illustrate where and how this process occurs. The best video on the electron transport chain I have found. Extremely clear and precise, with a relaxed, calm narration. Thank you for making my learning 100 x easier!

Protons are also attracted back into the inner compartment by an electromagnetic pull that was created when the protons left the inner compartment. Their relocation hyper polarizes the inner compartment and depolarizes the outer compartment. The energy harnessed to phosphorylate ADP likely comes predominantly from these electrical forces because diffusion is relatively weak.

Great video! I just have on question, in the electron transport chain why use the oxygen to get rid of the H+ and the electrons made? why not recycle them back into the electron transport chain thus eliminating the need to ingest glucose and take in oxygen. I know the theory wouldn't work in practicality but I would like to know why it wouldn't work. I'd be grateful for an explanation!

Two semesters back I took Nutrition class and it involved the Kreb's Cycle, the entire semester I really tried to understand it and nothing. This semester I am taking A&P so my nightmare was back, but seriously your video is awesome I actually get it. You explained it really well, thank you. May be a dumb question: at the end when oxygen and hydrogen make water, what happens to that water? where does it go, or how is it used? I definitely will be sharing the video. Thanks again.
