i've seen your videos of 'MOSCAP' (51 to 58) and they are awesome . I think your style matches somewhat with solid state devices book writer "streetman" because you always seems to emphasize on the fact that we draw Energy band diagram for -ve charges aka electrons in your lectures so that we don't confuse it with electrostatic potential energy of positive test charge (U) that we read in class 12th physics.I'm very satisfied with your intuitive explanations & less mathematical clutter unlike books like neamen.I urge you to please make more videos on Advance electronics VLSI design part,Elmore delay calculation,interconnects ,Noise margin analysis ,trip point calculations of inverter & go upto digital VLSI design Level 1 spice model.Because these topics are very rare to find on KZbin.This way your lecture series will be very fruitful to many indian electronics students who want to enjoy EDC from basic device physics to Digital IC design part (a very smooth transition from EDC to IC design)................I've already subscribed your channel , looking for more videos to come... .thanking you

This type of lecture literally deserves an attention like a bollywood movie!!Even the IIT professors have hard time explaining this topic. The only lecture which explains it clearly other than you was lecture of MOS capacitor by CALTECH prof Ali Hajimiri!!!Your conceptual clarity is really good and you are able to impart what you have understood which requires good skill. Hats off man and please continue to post such videos!!

Thank you so much. I had so much confusion regarding sign convention in non ideal flat band voltage but your crytsal clear conceptual explanation cleared all my doubt. Godspeed to your better life. ❤

I've been struggling a lot to understand this concept for days. I referred several books which some of them were good but still the terminology is quite inconvenient. The new terminology and concept of work function itself is difficult for me. You've explained these topics beautifully. Thank you. Keep Going!

Why would fermi levels in metar and semiconductor be different? I understand fermi levels as potential energy of all electrons on that distance x. If they are different would that mean electrons would like to go to the semiconductor even without anx extrinsic field, is that due to diffusion, as metal has way more conduction electrons then semiconductor?

@captainstreamer3261 Жыл бұрын
Yes , Offcourse It Can ,, then put negetive voltage in the place of Qox in equation in VFB ,,, This VFB equation Does Not Change Over P - Type Or N - Type Substrate This VFB equation will work for both

problem of this playlist is you derive only one equation Suppose , You Want To Derive Threshold Voltage For MOSCAP , You Derived only P-Type MOSCAP equation and SKIP ALL THE DIAGRAMS AND ALL THE CV CHARACTERESTICS AND ALL EQUATIONS FOR N -TYPE .... now suppose in some video that also include , that will get high ratting than you ,,, you have great potential but try to present it completely , thus student have no question to ask at least in Initial stage ....
