Just complete repairing my own iPhone 8 using your video as a guide. It worked out bautifully and it was also a shorted cap that I simply took out. Now my iPhone works great again. Thanks a lot!

Flir would help alot locating the shorted caps. Even a cheap one will get you to the area then use the fluid way. Like the videos. Thank you.

The current limited psu is very handy, and it won't upset a radio as it's linear :-D You and your petrol, i always smile when you say that lol.

How do you know it is linear? Nobody uses linear PSU’s anymore, unless if you have some old ones in your lab. Why is not upsetting a radio relevant? Just wondering...

@@crazyphil7782 , he took it apart a while back, it has a mains transformer (linear supply) Switchmode power supplys produce lots of harmonics created by the squarewave applied to the high frequency transformer, many harmonics appear on the radio bands, so radios can be upset.
