Please can an iPhone 8 still charge without the resistor,the two resistor as been broken?because i fix charging problem first and it works perfectly as our professor explain in the previous video.the point I jump wire to from the battery connector data line removed totally. At the process of troubleshooting another line, I removed two resistor out of ignorance with non functioning well multimeter it was a silly mistake to have removed the resistor.now I later found another line of the battery connector data line but have mistakenly removed two resistor,my question is can the iPhone still charge without the two resistor.

Hello .my name is Argiris and i am sending you from greece.i got an iphone 7 . i have changed the battery with a new one and the phone was working fine . about three weeks later the phone came back to me with boot loops. i checked the ampers and there was at 0.15-0.20 . i did a reflow to a chip (i do not remember the code of the chip exactly) and the power of the phone worked fine for a couple of minutes . i noticed that if press the board in the area up from baterry connector i got 1.6-1.8 ampers. so i also did a reflow up from the metal shield and for a couple of days it worked fine to everything. i also noticed, i f the phone is plud to the charger when the screen if turned off i do not get any ampers, if press the home button i get 0.30 and dropping. i am asking for your help . what can i do? and if it possible to text you that would be nice.

The two mosfetts on the iphone 8 im working on are intact and solidly attached, as well as the resistor on the same circuit next to them. Cant figure it out. The phone stopped charging randomly and turned off on its own. When plugged in it will draw 3 sometimes 4 ma but only for a single second, then waits 3 seconds and will draw 3 or 4ma for the second and do this indefinitely. Will not power on, swapped chargers and cables, new screen. But havent tried new batt yet.. cleaned out the charge port but still no change. Think it could possibly be the battery itself? Is a newer battery but not sure when it was replaced exactly, said is only few months old.. i don’t have any other iphone 8’s to test with.. any help would be appreciated because im stuck and don’t want to order a batt then have to wait the ship time just to find out its a blown fett or something.. but i wouldnt think those fetts would blow ever.. they always just get damaged .. but these arent damaged..

Hey electronics repair do you or anyone else no what I should check first I have a laptop that charges but will not switch on not even a sound ..the charge light shows but not the others at first the screen started showing. Pink horizontal stirps then also green then later faded completely white and now nothing will not switch on but still holds a charge .. Is there still a way to fix this without replacing the whole computer? In return for any response I will subscribe and ask others to join
@Radek__4 жыл бұрын
13:43 yes it is risky to do it with Hotair BUT you can glue that new mosfet upside-down to the board, and then solder 3 wires from it to the pads on the board. it will be safe and it is better solution, than yours, don't you think?
@gorjy96104 жыл бұрын
nobody will pay for time needed to do it like that. And it will still be dodgy, you will have 6 instead of 2 point of possible failure and safety? For owner it doesn't mean anything, who will change battery next time still have resistor in circuit for protection.
@Radek__4 жыл бұрын
@@gorjy9610 that resistor protect you only for ground but if you apply high voltage then it act almost like wire you mr. smart ass Sorin manipulated that fact on the video. its resistance is not enough to drop high voltage down. and we do not talk about client and his greedy wallet - we only count possibilities and he forgot about that one. 3 wires for that mosfet. IF you deal wit client who is taking apart his phone and trying to replace screen by himself and he is ripping off components from the board then you have to keep all protections otherwise that client will kill that CPU one day during next fixing and if he go to the other shop for expertise then they will discover that you removed protection and then it is easy way to start case is court that you fuckup his phone. so think. you are the service engineer, you are the boss of this repair. you have right, and client is wrong, you make rules and dictate conditions. NOT CLIENT. otherwise your job will be poor quality if you always will be listen to client voice and doing everything cheap as possible.
@user-te1le7ck6b4 жыл бұрын
Radek Stopyra agree but you need to bare in mind this is a fairly old phone so time that happens , if it happens ,the owner most likely won’t care

I dont believe you did this without a scope.. you literally cant see the pads with a 10x scope still.. and to solder to these connections while not bridging, lifting or affecting other components would be impossible.. theres no humanly way possible to do this without at least a .05mm tip and a powered 15x scope, fine tweezers, .02mm wire, solder stay, flux, and a hot air gun would be good if had tip small enough and a 370°f w/below 60 air speed adjustments..
