Wow! high quality, no disturbance, no murmuring, I just saw a bunch of intelligent people quietly observing this very unique and rare oppurtunity! thanks for the amazing experience!

Hello Daniel Hsu, you are right. That noise often comming from people commenting everything disturbs the atmosphere. The people here were so quiet probably because there is something majestic comming and the protection is more psychologic. So no noise and no move. Thanks for the comment. Greetings from Germany.

This brought such joy to my heart. Elephants are a passion of mine and I'm always hunting for vids on KZbin and this one is at the top of my list. I really love this. Great video. Thank you.

Hello, not many people found this little video. If you ever have the opportunity to visit that camp in simbabwe it is worth every day. It has only six tents. No fences. That makes it quite exciting. If you go out you need to watch first what´s arround. The elephants are also walking amoung the tents. It is a question of respecting each other. When I arrived late in the dark I was walking on soft ground. At daylight I saw it was the dry dung of the elephants which was distributed and made to ways. Regards Hans-J.

hansj0610 I'm so happy I did find it and that you captured it because it sure made my day. I very much would love to go. I know there is one like this In Botswana too that has thatched roof suites for families and such. It is my dream to visit these great places and have these experiences. Thanks again.

I love how these resorts build these swimming pools for customers, but the elephants basically just use it for drinking water.

Hi, You are right. I great location. There is also a 5 minute version at : kzbin.info/www/bejne/jZrHeWV9e5WNn8U I have saved a link of a reportage about that camp to get some background information. The elephants are very respectful. They know it's theirs. If they walk amoung the tents they destroy nothing. But they are still wild anymals. One should never forget that. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gKK4qZSppdGLh80 It starts at 02:40. The explanation about the pool is at 05:50 Greets

Poor ELEPHANTS! It's sad to know this pool water is BETTER THAN THE WATER THEY'RE GETTING IN THE WILD:/

Keep in mind what we see is the dry season. In the wet season everything is green and the natural waterholes like the one in the background are well filled.

Of course not. It's not in the interests of the camp operators to harm the environment or the animals.

Hello, Thanks for your positive opinion. This is my private channel where I uploaded just for friends. A bit experimental. I did'nt expect it would be found. I uploaded a 5 minute version on "rumble" last february. They host their own channel and placed it also there. You can find it if you search at KZbin for "elephants at pool". But here is the direct link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jZrHeWV9e5WNn8U Greets

Hi, It is the Somalisa Camp in the Hwange National Park. Today it doesn't look like in the video anymore. They have renewed the entire camp. It is more luxurious now. Elephants and even lions may move freely through the camp. There are no fences.
@remiremsar59464 жыл бұрын
Wait, the chlorine won't make them any harm, right?
@hansj06104 жыл бұрын
You assume something that isn't there. Of course there is no chlorine in the water. It's not in the interests of the camp operators to harm the animals or the environment. The camp is as ecological as possible. No diesel generators somewhere running for example. Electricity is solar powered. The water they use is cleaned in several stages up to drinking water quality and pumped back into the pool as well as the natural water hole you see in the background. Greets

I answered many serious questions on another channel which is more easy to find. The video is also new cutted to 5 minutes. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jZrHeWV9e5WNn8U But nevertheless. I uploaded this video because it shows nicely mutual trust and respecting each other. The elephants also walk carefully among the tents. They seem to know it's theirs. Greets

Bitte antworte nicht durch Öffnen eines neuen Threads auf der Hauptebene sondern lieber als Antwort zur Antwort. i feel sorry for the elephants, they have to come there to drink in stress and fear of human, but on the other hand its better than dying of thirst
@hansj06107 жыл бұрын
I don´t see any stress symptoms. There is also a natural waterwhole in the background (not visible in this part of the movie) and they prefere to come to the human made pool. They can choose what they like. I was at the same lodge a second time half a year ago. The natural waterwhole was completely filled up and looked more like a little lake. But they were still drinking from the pool. A stress situation would be if they are hunted and killed by poachers. This is fortunately not the case.
