Your sweet baby doll under the Christmas tree reminded me of one of my favorite true Christmas stories. My great grandmother had a very large family. She had 9 children who were close together in age. So, she was often with child and because of the clothing women wore, it was not easy to tell. My grandfather was born last. He was born at home on Christmas Eve while the children were all sleeping. She placed him in a basket under the Christmas tree and told his brothers and sisters on Christmas morning that the Christmas Angel had brought him. He was the dearest , kindest man I have ever known and I’ve often thought that he really was somehow brought by the Christmas Angel. 👼🏼 🎄
