The year 2023 will soon be over. We are all waiting so much for Divi 5 and the new speed, especially in the backend. Is there any new info about the release yet?

I hope this will improve the front end editor which has become quite annoying to work with. Expecially when adding and adjusting sections, rows and modules. Maybe it's just me?

I see the speed of theme to match the Google speed requirements is the most important than using AI into builder . Because Chat GPT & Leonardo are free and not a big issue to get the output and insert it to the website

DIVI is missing thousands of common features compared to its competitors. Moreover, the Divi Fb group is totally intolerant of criticism. Fix those things first. No matter how good your product is there will always be constructive criticism and you have to accept it. If you can't accept this then you have no right to be in the public. Good Luck.

@@yoda6010 I already said, (a thousand things/features). Don't be a blind DIV fan boy ok. I purchased DIVI lifetime 5 years ago since then the access key was thrown in the binbox. Divi is slow as he||.

That's why Divi 5 is being built - rebuild everything from the ground up to make faster and deeper changes much simpler to implement, rather than cobbling more weight onto a 10 year old foundation.

This is a necessary step in the process of getting there. First, they need the base solid and re-written. Then they can work towards new features, enhancements, etc. They've already indicated that this is the plan, this is going to streamline features we currently have so that iteration and expansion will be easier.

Of course, otherwise it wouldn’t be lifetime! :) Having said that, I was very disappointed to see AI not included. Hopefully it will be, as other AI-aids become increasingly “baked in”.

@@srenbanghansen8746 The reason for Divi AI not being included would I think is because the more you use the AI features in Divi the more they have to pay in API costs to the AI suppliers they are using like for example ChatGPT´s API where you pay for consumption.

Man, I really hope the speed improves. Right now this moment I'm trying to update my website and Divi is soooooooooooo SLOW!!!!!!!!!!! It's unbelievably slow! I'm simply trying to make minor updates with the visual builder and it just spins and spins and spins.....Too slow bro.

I love Divi but it's so slow literally all the time...The big problem with all of these wordpress addons is that they blame eachother for speed issues. "We don't see any issues on our end, please check every single plugin to see if that's causing the problem." That's no good. My divi site is like a house of cards, it's always on the verge of shutting down. I'm not bailing, just wish it wasn't so darn slow all the time.

They have already came out publicly multiple times to say that the upgrade to Divi 5 is free for thoose who already have a subscription. It will also be free for those having the lifetime plan.
