First resin printer I've ever had. I've been using it for almost a year now and have only failed at a couple of prints. I also installed the screen protector and haven't had to change any settings. It is an amazing printer, fast and reliable. Think on the first fep cleaning I used pretty abrasive paper and slightly scratched it. It is still printing as if nothing had happened. I have done 30 prints still not the first fep. I can also say that I do not have any problem with resin splash. Instead I had problems with the system of wash Elegoo, doa on arrival.

Great to hear yours is going so well. Shame about the wash system. I've got one and had no issues, and absolutely love it. Guess it's just down to luck sometimes.

Worth noting that the second revision resin tanks for the Mars 3 do have the pouring notch, as well as the replacement tank 2 packs. I've also not ever had the resin splash in either of my Mars 3s, nor have I heard of anyone else having that issue, that's a really weird issue.

That's good to know, might need to pick up a new tank! Yeah the resin splash thing is really odd. I've seen a couple of people mention it, but definitely doesn't seem to be widespread.

@@GrayScalpMiniatures at a guess the only thing I can think of that might be causing the splashing is if the print is holding on to the fep and essentially 'pinging' the fep upon release. I'd be curious to see if it still occurs if you lubricate the fep, not saying that's a workaround or solution more just an experiment to ascertain the root cause

been actually considering picking one of these up for a while but this really sold me on it. would you say that the wash and cure system are worth picking up as well?

All my friends that 3d print recommend it, resin is really messy and dangerous to handle. With a wash station you just put the whole build plate into the wash, no fussing around. Then you need to cure the models anyways so it's win win.

100% worth it. I did a previous video on it and before having one printing kind of get like a chore because the cleanup can be such a pain. With the wash and cure it takes so much hassle out of it.

have one as well and printed 7l with the first fep. (but should changed it sooner^^ had some failures with the last l). funny, i also once forgot to tighten the screws and thought i must be the only person who is that "dumb" (no insult intended). i personally had no problems with splash or the weight of the construction. but i also miss adjustable feets. my favorite resin is the phrozen aqua grey 4k and my budget choice is the anycubic eco grey (careful not to overcure it or it gets super brittle, but great for bigger terrain stuff). both resins are nearly odorless and very easy to clean. the quality is near to perfect with a layer hight of 0,02/0,03 (i print mainly 15mm or 28mm) since the mars3 is supported by lychee slicer i can and will fully recommend this printer to everybody who wants to start with resin printing for miniatures.
