I'm loving this track! It just hits the spot for me! There's this perfect vibe in it. Going to enjoy it many times. It is perfect now, in the midsummer, but it's going to be even better in early autumn. It just has this golden glow and a light happy soberness of autumn in it. Most def my favorite KZbin jam at the moment. Subscribed. Be well!

Kinda wished elektron would have kept that same design for mk2 analog four, they fit so well together! Cool jam!! All the bashing those mpx get, it looks like its pretty awesome for fx samples. Do you have to set it up every time you start it or can you have presets?

Thanks man, the mpx is a cheap piece, it can take the bashing, but not much, I guess. I am not running them through a mixer, everything goes into the Octatrack for individual and global FX. The form the OT straight to an audio interface and recorded in a DAW.

lots of issues, each loading takes forever. I use it with one kit only each recording session, otherwise it's a nightmare.

Interesting question. The akai sampler was sold, felt cheap and flimsy. On the other hand, the Octatrack is my piece of gear that I think I'll never sell. The analog four is debatable, there are better analog synths out there, I considered selling it at one point, but I am very used to the elektron workflow and I'm keeping it because it works for what I need, needs time and fiddling around, but I can get pretty great sounds out of it.

Curious did you use any tape effect on that track cause it really had some Magneto flavor to it.

yes, both A4 and the OT have delays that can emulate tape.
