When KZbinrs become successful with many followers, and people that grow to like and care about the creator, I feel there is a certain responsibility that comes with all that..I have witnessed time and time again, creators just disappear with zero explanation to there subscribers.. I see hundreds of comments from the subs, worried wondering what happened and if the creator is ok.. Why? I understand life gets in the way, but why the lack of respect for followers and subscribers?? These people deserve better, as some have followed for years, with strong emotional connections to the creators.. It is a bad way to do business, and shows a huge lack of respect for caring and loyal fans..Nate, if you are moving in a new direction, best of luck, but it would have been wise to acknowledge that past few years and simply stated that we have parted ways, and the change. People love both of you and they deserve better.. A 10 second explanation would have sufficed.. Peace..

Yeah, one of them was going to be a rental he said - and he had said a family member was going to rent to care for the place in their absence, when they both were out. No mention of that property now, or her. Been following them BOTH disappointed that there is no at least small mention.

I know a lot of people that are retiring or live in RVs/Vans. I think there's nothing wrong with that concept, and to be honest with you it not only makes better sense but jobs are such that they may or may not last. If one has what you need with you at all times, then you can move about as life demands.

What happened to the two New Mexico properties? I hope you have made some monetary gain as you worked really hard, as I understood from your videos. (Obviously you gained tons of practical skills for you to keep forever!) All these years I learned a lot from watching your videos (by the way I'm as old or older than your parents) and I've always admired how well adjusted and truly refreshingly positive you are, even when things going tricky (when some people might become negative and cynical.) Now it seems you're facing a new challenge. As a long-term fan of your channel, I'm just hoping that you do know how remarkably resourceful and resilient you have been to clear and create your own path so far!! My best wishes for you and your girl friend, together or separately. Thank you for your videos!

Hi Nate. Great to see you again on KZbin again. If you decide to go back to an Element, there is a company in Quebec that makes a camper kit for the Element. They make two different designs. The company name is Freeway Camper Kit. I have nothing to do with them. I just like their camper kits. They make many models. It would be awesome to see you come full circle and back in an Element. Your Element videos were great to watch. Welcome back Nate! I can’t wait to see what’s next for you.

I feel that pain, prices are insane on vans rn. I was trying to buy a promaster for the absolute longest but gave up. Either high mileage+ too much wear and tear or just wayy too expensive for something thats old. The new ones are extremely expensive as well. I might revisit the promasters in a couple years. Hopefully theyre cheaper.

Good to hear from you again. As a former NV200 owner myself, I'm dumfounded as to why every single car company that offered a compact cargo van in the US has now discontinued them. They certainly filled a niche in the market, and I don't see how they couldn't have been profitable. I'm ready to downsize from my full size Transit, but there's no way I'm going to pay an inflated price for a used compact cargo van.

I live in a compact crossover and with interest rates on used cars even for buyers with good credit scores it's not even worth upgrading to something larger, although I would love a hybrid for the gas mileage and climate control. Good luck. Always think it is funny when people talk about high interest rates. When I graduated college in '81, I bought a house and assumed the loan. The interest rate was 12.75% and it was better rate than a new loan. I think if I wanted to do "van life" now, I would do a minivan.

I would not buy property because I like to get up and move whenever I want to. I don't like things that tie me down. I may buy some land in the future so I can have a place to park my van when I want to have it as a place to park and live in my van for an extended period of time.
