I love what Jamila said about holding boundaries with the way people talk to her. Can you please give more examples of how women can hold boundaries in an assertive and feminine way

Jamila is a woman I admire so much. She takes time to answer my comments on KZbin on her channel. I know she reads her followers and notice them. She is so elegant and delicate, I agree in that she should answer only to people that take the time to write properly. Thanks for this interview ❤

So interesting! ❤ I've been binge watching her videos 😅 I wonder what different cultures would think about ppl who have disabilities and how that might effect someone's ability to hold cutlery, shake hands, etc

Hi Jamila and Elena! It was a pleasure watching the video. Very interesting collaboration. I would have not expected it. Jamila, I didn’t know you went to College d’Europe. I follow you for many years, you are very inspiring. I am also born in Eastern Europe and grew up in Belgium, lived in many countries therefore were also exposed to many cultures. You are very right on the cultural etiquette, it is all about context and awareness of your audience. Something in one country can be totally inappropriate in another. I love learning about these differences. It would be wonderful if you do a get together in Bruges one day. I wish you both all the best. Kind regards, Elizaveta.

Loved this and Elena is wonderful, I dont know about the parenting advice part of it, the speakers expertise is not in that area so the question on that seemed misplaced she did well though. For parents in the real world who are sincerely honest, we all have heated moments with our kids at times 😅

Jamila, It is always lovely to see you. However, I have never heard of Elena Cardone or her husband, Grant. She has now spent 10 minutes discussing passersby requesting photos of herself after you made an offhand comment related to attire in public. I will try to listen to the rest of this. I hope at least the “show” attracts more viewers and subscribers to your excellent podcast. Thank you for everything you do.

Jamila, if you’re eating something grainy, example chicken and rice, is it acceptable in continental style to scoop grains on to the fork and eating as if with a spoon?

I agree that over sharing political beliefs is not polite…people in the US often assume others have the same political beliefs as them…and then start making fun of them without realizing!

Those rules are stupid enough to cause a war. They should know that the other cultures don't know. Who are they to enforce their ridiculous rules to the world? Dumb.

Oh, one more disgusting thing about Jamila. You DO NOT have to respect your parents just because they are your parents. Not every parent deserves even basic human respect. Don’t spread this patriarch nonsense about parents’ superiority.
