We are really something! Of ourselves as a race of beings given the job of looking after things we are absolute losers I reckon! That is just the way I see it. I carry regrets not of the nature of harming Elephants but of being a human being born into a world that is not what it was meant to be.This world is not fair and the more I understand the nature of my own wrongs thus I can see what ails others as well. The Asian Elephants, like their "owners" are now mostly out of work and are too expensive to keep so they who are lucky are being sold to the nature parks and organisations like the people in the video, Lek. Unfortunately the owners are extremely reluctant to sell Elephants with no severe physical traumas and the ones being rescued currently comprise of elderly Eles who are blind and/or broken so they aren't much use as a work horse any more. Thus is the extent of the large percentage of rescued Elephants! I do understand you didn't ask me my opinion or what I think I know BUT seems such a shame to hit a delete button now. I've only just learnt how to use these new smart phones and......smart phones my#¥¢€¶∆
