What a beautiful place!!!! God bless all the volunteers that showed the baby what it is to be loved before it passed 🥺 what a beautiful baby.....Oh how I would have loved to lay with, feed, and just shower him with love.❤❤❤ I'm sure every volunteer will never forget their experiences with all of the wonderful 🐘🐘🐘 Dare I say I'm a little jealous 🤭. Maybe 1 day I can go do my part crossed 🤞🏽When the man filming said he felt like he was standing on sacred ground I can totally understand😊😊😊

Oh... the baby elephant. So much was done for him, but truly a Mother's intimate care is best. I wonder what in the world made her reject him? Was it the forced breeding? Did she not want her baby to live in the world she knew? Was she not with other elephants and didn't realize what the pain of childbirth meant ? Baby was in this life only a short time. But what hearts he moved and will move with this video. Thank you, little one. God's love be with you, and your Mother.

I cried so hard while I saw the guy who made the video. I love elephants so much, and by thinking about how much they still suffer from being tortured and abused by "human beings" makes me heartbroken. I don't call the ones who abuse the elephants human beings, because they are NOT, they do not have hearts. I want to work for Lek some day, hopefully soon enough.

There are 2 sanctuaries I truly want to visit and support and this being one of them. The happiness I see in these elephants just brings tears to my eyes. The years of hardship and cruelty they have had to endure in their lives is unreal but to know that Lek and her amazing team have done what they can to rescue these beautiful intelligent creatures so they can live the remaining years of their lives in happiness and safety is incredible. It’s not the most glamorous of vacations I’m sure but it’s gotta be one of the most satisfying moments you could ever experience.

Join me in giving a thumbs down to any video you see that has elephants in it with chains on their ankles. Either they roam free or we don't enjoy them. I heard China is not going to import Ivory anymore. And we have drones out there watching the Ellie's in the bush the future looks bright because of everyone that supports these beautiful creatures.

What's the baby going 2 do, when they all leave. It's eyes look strange. It's mama abandoned it. I'm disappointed w/ the mama. I hope she starts to love & care 4 her baby.
This is a wonderful documentary broadcast of this Sanctuary..the look in your eyes as you came upon them really spoke to the depth of how it touches everyone that realizes using them for logging, hauling, tourism is a shame. Zoos themselves are changing too- we went to the Philadelphia Zoo and you booked a few hours with a small group and helped feeding and cleaning- no more big crowds, loud noises, security - it was good to see how we are changing as we allow these wild animals their rights to dignity and respect. Here in New England I go on a Whale Watches every year, and I cried the first time I saw how gentle, graceful and curious - how they accept us. Thank You for your Volunteering!

Love this video. I'm from Thailand and no have business about nature park. FOR some people have negative post. You know about Kor-Sub-Chang words? Did you know about Pa-Kam-Chang words? Chang-ban words? Chang-Pah words? I know what about petting zoo and sanctuary. This place is heaven 100% and very good for the old elephant, elephant getting abused, elephant disabled and useless elephant. What happened? When they useless? You know? All elephant in nature park. Thailand call "Chang-ban". "Chang-ban" live together with humans long time and can't alive in the forest. You negative post meanwhile you stay at the hemisphere. For some people if you have knowledge about elephant problem in Thailand not enough, please stop negative post for nature park.

Crying for: what the elephants have lost at the hands of humans, what they have now thanks to Lek and others, and at my opportunity to interact with the elephants in any way possible. Also great to see the volunteers helping prepare food and clean up dung. I don't think I've seen that kind of "behind the scenes" perspective of Elephant Nature Park. Great video all around.

The high lite of this video is a baby elephant. Watching this video sometimes I couldn't hold back my tears, it kept pouring. If the baby elephant can talk he might have said " Thank you very much, human friends, you're the greatest friend I ever wanted at a time like this. You can be both my mommy and daddy. Even though my time on this mother earth is so short, but your loving care will continue to next life and many more after that. So long pal will be seeing you again next life! .......Many thanks from Thai Elephants"......In Buddhism, we believe that all things in nature are connected. This life is human and the next life could be animals. That's why in real life sometimes we can see some wild animals approaching us without fear for their life. Whether true or not I leave it for you people to judge. Even though if it is nonsense, but there is one thing for sure we as a human can't deny only LOVE can heal the wound!
Excellent video! Your documentation of the holiday is so descriptive...am glad that you both got to enjoy such a special time!

Magali Cruz will put a negative reply under every positive comment here. She will say she has been to ENP & knows about this sanctuary, but she is lying and ignorant of everything related to it. I've been myself and witnessed the elephants they've saved from horrible lives, and participated in their programs to help elephants owned by others in Thailand so they are happy and healthy. All of the money they make from people who want to pet/bathe/feed the elephants (instead of alternative cruel activities like riding/watching them paint or dance/etc) is used to save more elephants and spread their positive business model to others with elephants. The reality is that there aren't enough safe forest areas for all of the elephants in tourism, so humane tourism is the answer. However, ENP has purchased several thousand acres that have been planted for a few decades and when it is ready, they will begin releasing some elephants back into the wild.

How ever I noticed that the mahout who was walking the Elephant while sitting on his back, very ruthlessly used the BULL HOOK to turn the poor elephants head around. Such practices must be stopped with NO EXEMPTIONS. That is utterly cruel and unethical.

More over You listen carefully what these people comments about saying in this very same video as well, that it is completely and totally NOT Necessary to exploit these Magnificent animals, instead they should be given the due Respect, without Hurting and inflicting them in any manner. That one ways of inflicting these Elephants are of using the Bull Hooks. it does not matter they are within the ENP or walking elsewhere using Bull hooks to inflict them is totally not necessary. Then again I too ask you the same question which you ask me,...please explain yourself and not give the rude remarks to others when you give your incorrect absurd opinions on public commenting pages.
