Adine, you must be so proud of your Mother and now, you are continuing her work. Limpopo is very special, and Mambo is a wild boy! 🥰 What a blessing to walk along with such rich "elephant history" and a close knit family that you have helped create. As always, thanks to you and the wonderful Carers for being there for this precious herd! ❤

I didn't know about your Mom saving the elephants also Adine. What a great heritage you and your family have. I know your son is going to school to become a wildlife vet. What is your daughter doing also? I can't remember. The love and joy that your family give these elephants is remarkable. I wish that I lived close enough to have their love the way they love you Adine! But alas I live in North Carolina in the US. Much Love to you Adine and all the carers and your family! I Love you all to the Moon and back!! Loves and Hugs to you all!❤❤ Jeanne Jones from NC. Could you tell us more about your Mom please!

A nice peaceful day with the Elephants. No drama, just them out in the bush snacking on their twigs & bark. Enjoying life to the fullest because they were given a second chance by a Human Angel. Now another Angel has stepped up to carry on the torch. Good hearted people in return makes for happy Elephants. ❤

It is so uplifting to see the Herd elephants living such a good life were they are healthy and so well taken care of. They can roam about, forage for food, swim and cover their bodies with mud and dirt, and be elephants in their own right.
@SonicImmersion_ Жыл бұрын
That's neat that some of the Carers moved to South Africa from Zimbabwe so that they could continue to help the same elephants after the herd was rescued from the former country to the latter. That shows just how much humans can bond with these incredibly intelligent and caring beings. Other than humans, primates, dolphins, and killer whales, elephants are one of the only species known to understand the abstract concept of having a "self". In experiments where animals are given mirrors to look at themselves, and a marking placed on the side of their head, such as a star shape, elephants were the only land animal other than primates who would adjust their gaze in the mirror to view the marking, and then use their arms (or in the case of elephants, their trunk) to touch the marking. This reaction indicates that elephants understand that their own reflection is of themself, and not some "other" elephant on the other side.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Limpopo and Mambo, thank you both for giving us hours and hours of entertainment! I love to hear from Tigere, he is so knowledgeable about Elephants both anatomy and behaviour. Brilliant Man has my utmost respect! I'm now watching an older video from three years ago which mentions poachers. My question is why aren't the Carers carrying rifles or guns for protection, if they encounter poachers?

These are some very happy simple beings, living in such bliss. These lucky elephants have a great life at the sanctuary, run by kind souls who make sure these phants continue their joyous existence
@LtBRS Жыл бұрын
@@alvexok5523 Given their qualified circumstances. Nonetheless, their souls, like all living beings, function with the inclinations as given of God, their species creator. It's why the bull, being a good normal bull, wondered-off. He has normal bull elephant inclinations to be a normal bull elephant, regardless of how kind and loving human keepers provide for most everything that he needs. Just like ALL wild animal scaled-back because of (A, B, C, D, etc, reasons) sanctuaries. The tension while being significantly reduced is never eliminated. It's why the keepers have to be very cautious. To a "granted" lesser degree, it's necessarily still a three sided (counting the circumference edge) coin.
