You are the best chauffeur, you take the backstreets, side roads, and thru the ole town malls. We can just lean back and enjoy the view. Thank you for all the miles of enjoyment.

Russ, my 99 year old mom wanted to see a video on YT today and YOU HAVE THESE RECENT VIDEOS! WHAT GOOD LUCK, YAY!! I really enjoy your channel. You were a God send today. I LOVED the seals, thank you!

I was there in 2012 and witnessed about 20 elephant seals sunning themselves on the beach. While returning to the car, a big gopher snake stopped in front of us and everyone was afraid to pass thinking it was a rattlesnake. i grabbed it and moved it away, then people started running by. I laughed hard at that.. The thing that distinguishes you from most other KZbinrs who frequent Quartzsite is that YOU go to interesting places far from Arizona and don't make the same circuit year after year. Keep doing the great content and you will continue to go up in subs.

Another awesome video. I lived in San Francisco in the 1980s. My apartment was about three blocks away from the coast and we'd be socked under the marine layer all summer. So I'd hop a street car and head downtown where the sun would be shining. We'd have about three weeks every October when the fog would burn off and temperatures would warm up. Then one sunny October day in 1989 I was on my way home and caught up in the big earthquake. Wasn't fun. I left a few months later.

🙋♀Hello Russ! I loved every minute of seeing the coast! Enjoyed seeing the Elephant seals & the "lil fella curled up on his Mothers back. Beautiful aerial views of the coast! I could have sat there all day listening to the ocean roar. The campground looked welcoming. In hopes you have a wonderful Mother's Day weekend Russ!👍

Another great video Russ. Since I haven't driven since 2016, due to my low vision, you are one of my windows, to the country. Sorry that you couldn't get into the light house. I have touted quite a number of light houses, on my smartphone. When I was young, and got my first brand new car ( a 1968 Olds 98), l went to North Carolina's outer banks and saw the Cape Hateris Light House & the Oakrakoke Light House. Now, I ride along with you, on virtual tours. Thank you again, and good health to you.

You are hitting the nail on the head with all that. Here in the US, health conscious people work hard to maintain good health: check ingredients, no seed oils, sugar, processed foods, less carbs, high quality foods with minimal or no processing. We live in a healthy bubble where we used to be part of the status quo.

I looked into the building at 44:30 and it is the Cayucos Veteran's Hall getting major remodel after being condemned in 2016. It is an original structure to the town and built by it's founder as a community hall. I live about 45 minutes south of here and did not know that they were rebuilding it.

I love these road trip videos . By chance, I've just discovered that on this tablet ; ( Acer brand : not an advert , btw ! ) you can expand the view, either while the video is running. or while on pause. I zoomed in on the seals while they were in the water near the shore. Great stuff ! 🇬🇧💕🇺🇸😊🦉💕🇬🇧

I remember that pier. When I was kid. My parents and my family. We spent around week out there. They had big duck's go out with deep-sea diver's. That's where I learned to eat Abolona and Ritz crackers. They also had and old corner store that was back in the early 60s.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

We've been traveling up to the Cambria/San Simeon area for over 40 years and in the beginning there was a bit of sharing going on between the Elephant Seals and humans who visited the beach areas. Now there is no access for humans and the Elephant Seals have taken over everything.
