I can do the 3 against two accents but I can't modulate to a new metric. The 5 against 4 I can't even do the accents.

I have a question.. I have been trying to learn this song on and off for years! I first heard it in Call of Duty zombies and I've really had a lot of fun playing it. The song is called Beauty of Annihilation (a classic). There is this part however, which sounds very simple, but is by far the trickiest part of the song and ive never been to play it. Its this little interlude section before the last chorus. Ive never been able to understand what was happening here that I couldn't understand, but ive recently gotten back into playing a bit more seriously and I think its actually a 3 against 4 polyrythm (on the hat the 3 with kick and snare staying in 4). I have nowhere near the expertise to say whether or not it actually is, so I was hoping someone could help me. Knowing whats happening here would just make it easier for me to learn! I know its a lot to ask, so I appreciate anyone who takes the time to read this! Thanks! T;DR - i think a song I've been trying to learn for a long time has a polyrhythm in it, pls help me identify said polyrythm. Thanks!
