Two very profound things in this video that will go unnoticed: 1:17 "This video isn't about playing the exercise of the intro" with the implication being that you need the foundation, the basics, before you have any hope of pulling off what he's doing. and 5:23 "Practice is the only thing that separates you from your goals as a musician" Also, I'm going to check your videos out but if you haven't made a video about how you tune your toms, you should. Your tone is spectacular.

Ese ejercicio está genial. Yo lo comencé a hacer hace tiempo porque me di cuenta de que es esencial para dominar los tresillos RLT, en mi caso LRT, porque soy zurdo. Despues, tambien me di cuenta que me servía para simular el doble bombo, y, aunque no he llegado a tener el mismo dominio que tú ni por asomo, me ha servido un montón!. A mi nunca me gusto usar el doble pedal, pero me gusta el metal. Saludos!

Your technique is just amazing. To see you go from full leg kick hits, to a slight swivel at the medium speed, to just an insanely strong ankle hit is really something to watch. I've been playing a long time now and I have never been able to play quickly with my ankle; it feels like when you try to punch in a dream...nothing there. I'm mainly a slide technique player, but I'm going to practice the things in this video and improve my ankle technique. Thank you.

You're not alone . My ankle is like it's fucking cemented or something, i can't do shit with it. After 170 bpm it's over for me. I've practiced believe me but it's futile.
