This guy is an absolute machine! Great stuff! Love the videos. I’m 50 years old. I used to play the kit when I was in band in high school. Then I played a couple of years with a few guys after high school, but I haven’t played since. Your videos are making me want to go buy a kit and see if still have some chops! Also, have you ever invited Mike Mangini to do a video? I would love to see him in y’all’s environment!

Legend ? Who is that actually ? Ahhhh a youtube/ tiktok drummer okok .... People these days are depressing to read . Not taking away is talent but ive seen drummer as good or better in my home town and they are not legend , just like him he isnt one, far from it , lets see where he is in 10 years .

Why so negative? That's just not necessary. Where is the love for the effort that he has put in?
@KingJerbear Жыл бұрын
@@JayCord00 first off there's zero chance a drummer in your hometown is on his level, and he's a legend because instead of typing negative nonsense trying to discredit other people's achievements he has worked on his craft every day with a great attitude to spread the gift of drums to people around the world. He is making a living playing an instrument and more successful than he could have dreamed being a drummer in 99% of bands today. It's always the people who are self-conscious of their own lack of achievements that feel the need to put down others.

This dudes a monster!! With instructions like this and daily practice there’s no reason why drummers shouldn’t be jaw dropping. I really wish KZbin was around when I was younger because the wealth of knowledge that’s available……for free is mind blowing. I had to spend a ton of money on different types of one on one lessons and instructional VHS video’s which were hit or miss if you really learned anything from them. The one on one lessons taught me not just what to play but how to play it and how to read it.

These are solid exercises, but when learning need to understand the correct way to use the pedal. A lot of beginners, myself included at one time, don't do the research. Its important to stress that and learn that early. I had so many mistakes to correct from not learning the correct way a pedal works. The angle of the pedal, positioning/placement of the foot on the pedal, angle of the back heel (like supplementary angles at and angle itself.) Those are the real secrets. These are fantastic exercises to learn for sure. I've been enjoying your videos for a while now. Love the collab with Drumeo as well.

Very Nice! I'm a drummer, last year I had a very serious accident, a drunk lawyer got in my way, I fractured both femurs, left tibia, pelvis, humerus and left wrist! I was in the ICU for 2 months in a serious condition, I was on a motorcycle, I had just left the supermarket with my wife, she broke her right knee and a toe on her left foot, I'm studying music at university with a degree in drums and percussion by the IFPE of Belo Jardim-PE, I am from Garanhuns, the doctors said that I would never walk again, after 5 months of the accident, I walked again, today I walk, I play the drums, not like before, there are still many limitations, but I'm coming back little by little, and I'm going to show everyone the power of my God! I'm going to study this video a lot at home to improve! ❤❤❤

@@gerriwood-chromick9390@smellynelly1 Forgive me for only responding now. did not notify on my cell phone. Today, my skills have improved, I have more control when I'm playing. This is the most important aspect to fucus as the mechanical part of drumming. Once the muscle memory is set, the rest is to make good patterns. As a beginner I realized about this once the "imposible songs" to play weren't that bad of a challenge. You'll see.

DRUMEO is a wealth of knowledge which shares critical information with aspiring drummers, free of charge, via the tutelage and peerless expertise of some of the best musicians in the business. Dont forget to do these with your off foot for a good even work out. Also switch which hand keeps time and which hand alternates. Get used to "keeping time" on your own, without the aid of audio cues or limb movements. It's something that's always fascinated me, when you switch the parts each limb plays. Like play the exact same groove, but switch the snare and BD. Can be a real mind melter on even simple grooves.
