The play at 2:45 is kinda hilarious when your setter sets outside after your outside covered the tip so your libero has to save it and play it over. I've done the exact same thing in-game as a setter. That's one way to make yourself feel stupid.

Hi Coach, got watched all new "Tall Ones gen 2" vids and have a question - Im from Poland and here even in our amateurs leagues liberos can not serve, and if I am understanding it correctly Brant and the girl on the other team are both playing as liberos and yet they are serving, do you guys have some different rules? I'm obviously not Coach Donny, but strongly recommend *not* using an indoor ball for outdoor play. Outdoor balls are specifically designed (slightly heavier) and constructed (composite not leather) for the elements - sand, wind, etc. It would also be a shame to damage the "skin" of your good indoor ball by using it outside. You can get a decent outdoor ball for around US$20-25 (or local currency equivalent) if you're just playing for fun.

@@johanneclydelu8334 Last spring during the (first) lockdown, Coach Donny reviewed and recommended the Mikasa King of the Beach, kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJKpYWiIbMelapY I think it's around $35. You could also consider a *replica* of the AVP ball, Wilson OPTX, which is around $25. Or, if you have the official FIVB indoor ball, maybe you have more budget? In which case: the official FIVB beach ball, Mikasa VLS300 ($60) or the official AVP beach ball, Wilson OPTX ($65). Hope this helps!

@@johanneclydelu8334Speaking honestly, if the V200W belonged to me - i.e., I bought it with my own money - then I would not use it on cement unless it is a well-finished (painted/smooth) floor. Instead I would use a cheaper (replica) ball that only cost $25-35. But if the V200W belongs to your school or someone else, then go ahead. :)

How does the score keeper mess up twice in a row lol

Scorekeeper was fine. The overlay score from the video posting is wrong. The first game seems to skipped past a Tall Ones receive point (they side-out, but the next point in the video is them serving). In the second game, the video edit gives the wrong team the point at 17:31. You can follow along with the scorekeeper on the left side of the court. Scorekeepers were 100%, Donny’s edit… not so much. Great play overall though!
