He is so much better and safer than our last school elevator technician. We had to all go outside bc there was a huge elevator problem only to find out the mechanic got himself stuck in the wires and stuff.911 was called and we never trusted that company again.WHO AGREES WE SHOULDNT

Excellent, Very safe, ALTHOUGH one thing i have learned is to close sgaft doors during maintenance on top of the elevator, A colleague i work with didnt and a blind person died by falling down the shaft

helo guys! there's a job opening in my country (Croatia) in one of those big player companies in the industry, for a maintenance technician. Im seriously thinking about applying. A question to you all: how well do you have to know the way the electronics works in the IMC controler or corion door controller,or other electronic in use to find and diagnose the problem in a reasonable time, to be independent tehnician ? Would very much appreciate your advices on the matter.

a good thing to start with is to observe what everything should do in normal condition when u do a specific action. try to trigger different things to learn what happens. but stop when u not know what u doin. how fast ur an independent technician depends on how fast u learn and how good u are reading electric diagrams and some mechanical insight also required. if u work for an big player, ur probably well protected, insured,... but also restriced by procedures and some kind of product protections.
